Ok so this is a little old but what the heck. Don't get your hopes up for integrated sound with the APU and SoundStorm chip on your board if you move to an nForce3 setup. According to various news releases nVidia may be making a push toward a separate sound card in the near future and is not going to include any option for a sound integrated nForce3 board.
Also motherboard makers like ASUS, MSI and others have apparently told nVidia that their buyers (consumers) don't care for the integrated SoundStorm option on the board. For me it was a help instead of a hinderance once I had heard it and liked it. It saved me a few dollars overall and gives very nice sound as well.
