Since we're asking for railway guns, how bout OSS agents, or maybe commandos that we can drop behind enemy lines.

Maybe a way that a person can move around on the ground and sabotage planes, trains and automobiles.

Better yet!  How bout a secret atomic weapons program for those with the mind for it?  First country to develop a nuke can use it and get a reset in one big boom!

What about a Gestapo mod?  or a Stalag Luft III addition?  Give you a chance to torture captured pilots and then give them a chance to tunnel out?

What if we have a French resistance mod with a French family with a daughter just the right age so the downed pilot doesn't get cold while he's hiding in the barn from the Gestapo?!  Knowing the AH crowd, can you imagine how many pilots would be bailing out over enemy territory to take advantage of this addition to the game?

Submarines!  Thats it!  Cruising the depths of the Aces High waters, sinking carriers and rescuing downed pilots!

It's all beginning to make sense to me now!  The possibiliies are endless!  :)

OK then, how bout midget Subs, or those two man deals the Brits used to try and attach limpet mines to ships.  Can't you just see it?  Cruising out in your midget sub, open the hatch, take a swim up to the carrier, put the mines on, swim back and boom!

Would this be the Aces Low update? :)

I'm still thinking the French Resistance update would be the most popular :)

Since we're going all out, how about young British women that swoon over strapping American Airmen fighting alongside their RAF bretheren? What a boost for morale it would be. Perhaps 'whiners' will finally be silenced (on the American side, of course).

Works for me :)  Picadilly Commandos would be a good addition.

Maybe we could include Tokyo Rose and Axis Annie, or even Lord Haw Haw.  We could have them do the whining.  We could also have leaflet dropping missions that would include the best whines.  That way a person could choose to read them or not :)

I wish there was some sort of logistic system, that boats etc have to transport supplies to fields so they wouldn't 'dry up'.
This makes the adding of sub's much better since no sub can keep up with that enormous battle speed of the fleet.

Also some Catalina's would be nice :aok

well since there aren't much tanks and the field is always very open and the tanks have less action (due to less ground enemy's) they pay to much atention, also I wouldn't want to walk for like 5-10 minutes to sneak up a tank doing 25 mph

Personally (and this goes into the category of idiotic things, btw) I'd like to be able to freeze my finger off on the inside of a b17 while at 30k feet. There's nothing like realism. Oh yeah, while you're at it, I'd like to get hammered and smoke a nasty cigarette made of rolled newspaper while flying an Il2. Thanks

Shut up and quit asking for stupid stuff, you stupid stuff asking-for person, you. And don't make fun of Luftwhiners who ask for all 10,000 variants of the BF109 or FW190. Or players who want the flying submarine from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea or every plane from the Alien Spacebats Who Helped Hitler Win the War in 1946 websites modeled in Aces High. So there. :D

Promoting s Spanish Civil War terrain and planeset is still cool, though.

Arlo...

With the new graphics engine HT is designing, this isn't quite as stupid as it sounds :). I do know that HT has comtemplated making it so that field captures would be accomplished via a first person shooter type setup. You just never know......:)

yeah!!  everyone knows we need in-air powerups to repair, rearm and refuel so we quakers don't have to auger in all the time to get a new plane and back into actoin faster!
