This is airframe #1 I believe, already sold to a German museum in Munich. Been repaired since its maiden flight in January when they had a nose gear failure.

For those of you that don't know much about the Germany ME262 history in WW2 heres a short history from the Projects website: (Stormbirds)http://www.stormbirds.com/warbirds/history/history.html

Thanks for sharing the photos Rip, they worked fine.

Some additional info...   The first "new build" airplane, the two-seater in the photos, has been purchased by a lawyer in the US.  He will base it in Arizona after he takes delivery.

The second airplane, a single seater, has been purchased by none other than Messerschmitt.  Well, the historical society that uses the Messerschmitt name purchased the airplane.  This aircraft will go to Germany upon delivery.

There are three more up for sale:  a two-seater and two convertibles that can be configured with one or two seats in a very short time.
