End of an incredible aircraft.  Too bad it had to go because of something on the runway.

Welllll...

Maybe the trigger was the Paris accident, but the reality is that they NEVER made any money on the Concorde.  100 passengers is not enough to pay for the wear and tear, fuel, crew, and everything else.

The real shame is the lack of progress toward something that IS commercially viable.  Everybody gave up, and went in another direction (large cattle cars).

Just my two cents worth.

Wolfala,

Do you work at JFK? I work N90 and handled that plane when it made its last trip before going to the Intrepid.

Wolfla,

I work at the Tracon, I am a Traffic Management Coordinator. I have known John since he arrived here. If you ever need anything give us a call, my operating initials are JJ.

Its always a pleasure to meet others that fly the NY metro airspace.

I'll send the file to whoever wants it - but it'll have to be over AIM, ICQ or MSN because AOL can't upload more then 12 megs and it pushes 17.

Here's my NFO - just drop me a note with who u are and i'll get it sent yr way.

AIM: Wolfala
MSN: Wolfala@aol.com
ICQ: 1065773
