Why are troops practically invincible

Since we are in the Desert map, where gvs can spawn right on the doorstep of your city...we've seen a lot of quick capture backs where an M3 shoots over and chucks the troops out.  On one instance, I happened to be over the city in a P-38 with a jabo load.  Put two 1ks right in the middle of mass....they are marched on thru.

Why are the troops bomb proof?  You might want to pass along this advanced technology to the Mid East ;)

According to darwin theory, a few centuries and any Israeli will be able to do that. :)

It's one of the mysteries of life.. Such as how can a tent fabric stop a frag grenade blast in Americas Army game.

They were never meant to be hit with bombs, so HTC never decided to improve upon that... or so I guess

Cause if you're up with bombs, you're not really prepared for a troop drop.  The ones dropping troops have won the day (in the game.)  Strafing is effective though.

Well all sarcasm aside, I'd like to know if that's something HTC will fix or if that's "just the way it is".

Its kinda frustrating to have the means to wipe out a town or other object, but troops can wander threw those blasts unscaathed.

But, I also think GVs should have a hard time emerging from a crater(s) near them, etc.
