I am reforming the Pigs on the Wing.
The recent debacle has left me without any options other than reforming and rebuilding my squad. I will be actively recruiting over the next several weeks, and I am looking for players who are willing to reform as a cohesive unit. Join me in celebration of a ten year legacy, and the Pig's return to their original recipe and former glory. Despite the rumors, we will not be taking bases exclusively, the only requirement for membership is that we fly Knights only, and we will operate in the same area as a cohesive group.
Contact me here on this thread with your in-game id or drop me a PM on the game when I'm on if you're interested in joining the original Pigs on the Wing. All former Pigs are welcome, no questions asked.

I tried to upload that one to the AH forum avatar and it said it was too large, that's a good one though, never edited a .gif before, but maybe I can resize it or cut a couple frames from it.

I've had go a rounds with Twitchy, but I'll extend my hand to him, before someone like yourself. You're already painting yourself into a corner with this schoolhouse behavior.

My suggestion would be to let your next squad switch sides.. Absolutely nothing wrong with it and it's also a good way at flinging a booger in the eye of overbearing sweetheart masters like SYKO who had every intention of horking this squad from you from the beginning.. <<<<<<S>>>>>>

Thanks Recondo, for everything. You, Krupinski, and Citation are the only pigs that bothered to get both sides of the story and, right or wrong, that says alot. <S>

hmmmm funny thing is i remember the first two members of POTW
First one was twitchy the FOUNDER and then moil as we all know is know known as LTARmoil. why keep the name that some other man started 10 years ago?

why not just make it 40 strong with 2 wings? say 20 in each or say 32 in one and the rest in the 2nd wing? why 4? seriously? ( not that I got room to talk any ROFL )
also, Twitchy, I would not post it as "reforming" ....you have already formed the POTW 9 or so years ago...... so I would call it Restructuring.......
but for what it is worth.... you are the Founder and original CO, and no matter what anyone says...... this noone can ever change......
each your heart out syko........... You belong to the POTW that was CO'ed and Founded by Twitchy.....

I do hereby decree Twitchy, you shall keep the POTW squad name, all licenses, merchandise, future movie deals, etc. You are awarded full custody of the trademark POTW name. Syko, you are awarded custody of the members in the 4 wings of your soon- to-be named-squad. I have not seen this type of silliness and disrespect in my court in a long time. I was going to sentence you and your fellow mutineers to 20 weeks flying at Furball Lake, but I will suspend the sentence if you follow my ruling quietly and in a very timely matter. This matter is closed. If I see either one or both of you in my court again soon, may God have mercy on your souls, because I shall not. I will throw the book at you. No really, I'll really throw a book at you, I've got a special stack I keep nearby. I'll have my eye on you...

no offence twitchy but ive been here 2 years and flown alongside POTW most times ive been online and I dont remember ever seeing you. a squad is the pilots, not the name, and as far as I can tell POTW has been around a long time and has evolved to the 3 wings we have now. players come and go but there is a continuity from the squad you founded years ago to todays POTW.
put it this way, afaik Bill Gates has all but retired from Microsoft as of now. If he was to now hire a couple of engineers, set up a small office and call the company Microsoft, which would be the real Microsoft? the massive multinational headed by Balmer which sells and supports the various Windows OSes, XBoxes, hardware etc etc and which has a clear continuity from the original company, or Bills startup?

The "current" POTW or whatever you want to call them is actually flying rooks this tour. I believe they may be going bish next tour.
