That is the message I get when I try to connect to online arenas. I have tried disabling firewall to see if there is a difference, but it still will not connect.

First thing to do is determine what is blocking the games access to the Internet.

I was getting this error "unable to connect for version checking. please check all firewall settings".
so I got rid of my Mcafee firewall, installed ESET and the program ran flawlessly
