We up to about 26 27 members as of this moment so we are currently being very selective in who we accept. Pilot skill is not the only thing we look at but having basic knowledge of ACM and experience within Aces High is. PM myself of DrBone if your interrested. Doesn't matter where in the world you live if the squad feels your a fit, after your 1 week trial your sent an invite. :salute

Well wiki told me that the barrel is just a few cm's shy of what the actual barrel lenght is. So hence its fake. I mean really would that guy be wearing two differnt shoes if it were to be real. Also the guys towel is an off color for the part of the year over there.

btw, for the life of me I can not remember the other nomad that had his cpid similar to yours? his also started with an M and I think it also had an r in it. Those aw days of yesteryear become hard to remember all the details at times.
oops, now it comes to me think it was Map and maybe a Mip or a Mep, or was it Mar or Mars ? and all those + signs was hard to keep up with them all, haha !

You should see some of the emails that go through my workplace, and how badly they're written. It's astounding. People are using texting abbreviations for words in business emails, not sure of "they're, their, or there" and "it's or its" or any number of similar conjugations, and neglect punctuation marks.
They'll send an email to 1,000 employees, plus an entire Judiciary department, and not care that they wrote a sentence like this: "Their going to close the offices today please tell both the prosecutors and defence. thx"
Holy mother-f...sh**ba**s...I want to punch them in the mouth and make them go back to school ala Billy Madison style.

I can fully understand how one person that gets to another may cause that individual to have a different view of his Nemesis' squad........... but really it is looking at things the wrong way in my eyes........ just because one might have a beef with another you are therefore going to ridicule and smack talk about the whole squad............
why does this sound like the same ole crap that some well known players from well known egotistical squads in the past ( and not so distant past/present would go around doing / have done before.....
what causes this? is it jealousy? is it because someone got their 6 handed to them and they could not swallow their pride? ......... whatever reason causes this I say , don't talk any talk, practice your game playing ability and deliver your on handing of their arse back to them next time you meet up in the virtual skies of Aces high :D :cheers: :bolt:

Well Ink, I don't know anything regarding to what may have transpired between you and bone........ anyways that is ya'lls business.....
and again, I was not directing my post toward in single person, it was to the entire audience of this thread, Sir......
as to my above post, I just posted what I had experienced flying along with Drbone TnDep and some other topgun squad members, and during those several nights & flights i did not visualize anything that some have said this squad is doing........... that is not just about what is said in this thread but in some other threads as well...... I have seen some of the "flying in hoards" comments by others in other different threads since this squad recently came about...... so I took the opportunity to fly with them to observe how they handle themselves without telling them the real reason I wanted to fly along with them........ although I just let that cat out of the bag with this post ROFL......
it's all good from my end..... everybody on this planet is going to be at odds with one person or another somewhere.. that is just how the world turns I guess.......and again that is none of my business........

My whole problem is I dont have an ego outside of Special Events Arena. I just cant stand dishonorable stuff. If I could tolerate it, I wouldn't say a word to you fellas.
But, it was a good decision to make a squad Bone. It is doing well and that can be spoken for. We were the same way for a while. Best thing about being CO, you cant get kicked out :aok :salute :cheers:

Short, sweet and fun. Upped a bit late, caught up in time to blow throw the Tiffys and Spits to drop on the naval group. I released too low, hit the destroyer dead center but was killed in my own blast. It was fun though. I'll try and find ya'll next week.

Attack: Snailman
Bomber: (no idea... 999000?)
but somehow, Bruv got the attack score :headscratch:(forgot to fly in fighter mode?) snailman didn't take the spot he usually takes, and well I'm not going to talk about babybone here (as the subject can't be touched without starting another flamewar).

I don't remember ever crossing paths with you but I'm sorry you feel the way you do Dr.Bone. I had asked on 200 about squads and I was told that your squad was second best to the "Drunken Church Ladies" . I contacted one of your members and politely asked, who rudely said no, verbally went after me on 200 without even giving me a chance or even knowing me. The only member in your squad that behaved in a rational manner was cattb who politely asked me to contact you for the opportunity.
Its quite interesting that you proclaim that you don't want people with large egos, yet your own actions suggest that you yourself & some members of your squad have huge egos and are above treating people you don't even know with any shred of respect. I'm sorry you have set the stage for such a poor first impression, I have since flown with other squads who were more accepting. If this is how you treat people and encourage others to treat people, you don't deserve anyone in your squad.

If I may share with you folks the reason I asked to join Top Gun. I like to switch squads every few months to meet new guys and get to know players that may have been my virtual enemies in the past. When Bone started Top Gun and I saw all the vitriolic posts, I decided, to ask for an invite because everyone was giving him such a hard time.
Now that I have flown with them a bit, I assure you, this squad is no different then any of the squads I have been in. They are proud of their squad, as they should because there are some very good sticks in here.
We have a lovely game to play gentlemen, this is not it here, this is just a message board. Please play nice. <S>

Though given the present circumstances (the fact that I joined TG) and overt animosity between AoM & TG I would expect that I am pretty much blacklisted from AoM.

I wasn't really well known in the fighter crowd. Been talking with some GV'ers and a few fighter sticks from AH in teamspeak and in WoT/WoWP. They still remember me just fine.

I wouldn't call any of your members particularly well known either. I know of some of them, and personally know a few of them, but aside from DrBone, and maybe pacman, I wouldn't say any of them are known for their flying, or their GV'ing.

I wrote the orders, and they are upset I put Joker Jokers in charge of their flight, I put a veteran squad I know of in charge, there are a half dozen other squads to coordinate with and they feel I "shafted them".

Way too many other people and squads involved who are there for the good times, tactics, camaraderie, and just general immersion of it all, to have to deal with the drama going on between a few people or a couple squads.

I was being a smartarse, I haven't had an opinion or give my input to what Drbone does or says, he's the CO and whatever he decides i follow with. If we do get a second top gun wing, i nominate ZeeFire3 for CO of the second wing, I know he's just perky for the role and will do wonderful, after all he's an assistant manager at Wendy's, the guys just born to lead a squad on the interweb.

I get it all the time, I don't pay attention to it - I was a rook yesterday for a while, then went knight (forgot the squad switched), anyone who flies/plays with me knows I joke around being a "spy" all the time.
White knight calling Rook King, CV spotted sector 9.9.9 (which happens to be in the middle of no where on land).

We always fly Friday night at 11pm EST, however we do get together in the Main Arena and practice with whatever ride we are assigned, sometimes Training Arena or DA.

We only have one full wing and a handful in the second wing, I'm personally training up any pilots joining as most of the TG officers.
Not our own flight sim, but the volleyball team lacks decent players :\
