Title: To All Allies
Post by: oakranger on April 17, 2008, 09:56:21 PM
As of 11 pm EST.  Axes have only three bases.  A70 is completely down, A74 and A75 we will not touch.
Congratulations Allies, even it is not office yet, WE WON.
You guys did a great job of sticking to it, working together, communication was excellent, and you maintain good conduct.  I do encourage you to invite more of your buddies to come in the AVA.
I also want to salute  :salute the axis for sticking to it and fight back. I do encourage you to  keep on flying in AVA and inviting more people to come and join the fight.
After BoB, I will be stepping down as XO for the allies.  In all fairness, I may be joining the axis so they can get there numbers up.  I want to see a good fight in this arena.

That is all. :salute

A70 is down :O  And to think I spent 4 hours last night running C47's with airfield supplies up there from our southern bases trying to get a hangar back up. :cry

:(  Every hangar destroyed.  We received an urgent call from II./JG26 asking us to ferry up building materials from our remaining bases near Rennes.  It would take almost a full tank of gas.  We took off in the dark, I looked over at my copilot and said "if we see a white plane its American, if a black it's RAF, if we see no planes at all it's the Luftwaffe.  He grimaced and turned back to scanning the sky for enemy planes.  I laughed, "What I wouldn't give for a few 190's from JG26 for escort" I thought.  The flight is a long one over the Burgandy river near Orleans then turn towards Troyes on the Seine then North to our base near Utrecht.  I settled back for a long flight.

The last 5 times I have logged in the Allied out numbered the axis 3-5 to 1.

Twice it was 4-5 vs 0!

Shallow victory if most of the base taking was done this way.

Game rules were the first side to take 20 bases wins. It didn't say that the winning side had to stop and wait for the opposite side to return from their whining temper tantrum  :cry :furiousbefore continuing.   :D  :D :lol :lol

How pathetic.

I spit on you axis pigs.  Worthless, no good, bunch.  Who cares who shot me down.  Come and get me you pigs.  I dare you.  Try to stop me from leading the allies to victory.  Run to your acks and and towers.

I would say that lanc's were the deciding factor.

Go in knock everything down, if you have resistance.

I logged in more than once where I was the only axis in the arena and messed with a 6 guy capture.

After a few rounds...here come the lancs at about 3k..hangers down, for a whole day:)

I think the 24hr down time was a mistake.

To me using Lanks as jabo aircraft was a complete misuse of the aircraft as well as ridiclous, but I'am just an old buffer, what do I know?
