Thats ok. Those not participating could switch sides and defend to keep numbers close.

If we do, we get plenty PMs calling us "TRAITOR!" & "Cheater!" from Rooks and loads of "Spy!" cries from country we just went to...

Mass groups such as this are fun to go up against.

As for flying with them it's no fun as they are racing eachother to try to get that lone kill.

We keep our SAPP events relatively small and even tell folks where we are to get fights. We still find on many occassions that when we enter a sector it clears out. There are your great groups who like a good fight and they'll come find us. <S> to those groups!

I doudt it will last very long.

Knowing the company the OP keeps, it will largely be comprised of all the usual mission spamming, fellow countryman bashing bonopartes along with their respective noob followers who all have stuck caps lock keys on their keyboards that the rest of us rooks squelch out 90% of the time. I predict infighting and implosion within their ranks in very short time, it will be like a dozen monkeys trying to screw a football. The football will be unscathed and the monkeys will end up just screwing each other. :)

I just wish to hell we had a permanant squelch list capabilty as i can also predict how much worse the country channel will get once this rolls.  I would do anything including building Hitech a house within the compound of the cragenmore scotch distillary, complete with hot and cold running scotch faucets, showers, tubs, hotubs, pools, he could even flush his toilets and fill up his waterbed with the stuff if we could have a perma-squelch capability!!!  :)

Hmm, I have flown in the Knight Alliance missions.  Perhaps I should try this new Rook Alliance for a mission or two.....

Then again, would they accept a apy like me?
 :noid

(as an aside, I used to be loyal to my chess piece but now I go where my squadron does.  I mean each side has it's quarks and play styles, but the friends I have made in the skies of AHII span the entire chess board and some frequently side switch.  Is it not the bottom line to have fun and enjoy the experience of AHII and the virtual friendships?)

I must have missed the election and follow-up memo declaring you the spokesperson for "us rooks". For what it's worth "us LCA" invite you to switch to nit or bish and leave us to enjoy the game the way we choose.  :devil

Sorry for the lack of all caps, but my caps lock key broke from over use.  :D

I was just going to post that perhaps JG54 will need to switch and fight against these players.  LCA why not go bish?

I'm guessing that is going to be on Titanic Tuesday. Care to name which Tuesday?  :D

I can remember the old days before the arena limits and the Eny that the skies would be dark with RJO.

Nice work on the telegrams and layout, I respect that.

I hope it won't turn into a massive horde attacking undefended bases.

We have 12 squadrons regsitered so far but could
use some more.  We have plans for some rather large
missions, the first being a mammoth (we hope)
bomber mission with dedicated escorts.  :)

If your squad intends to register please try and do so
before the end of the month so we can get started
running operations.

Also, if you received an invitation and do not intend
to register
please send me a PM so I can cross you off
our list.  There are still a bunch of squadron C.O.'s
who I spoke with in the game who said they were
interested and  who I sent an invite to but have not
yet registered their squads.  I'm just trying to get a handle
on where those squads stand so please let me know..

Thanks,

David

Or should I just look for the triple darbar? Good luck.

No offense meant but if you are looking for battle, why in the heck do you need 10 squads?  Just seems odd to need 10 squads when looking for a fight, why not 2 or 3 squads? Little hordish sounding but gl anyways.

It's only a horde when you're flying against them. When you're flying with them it's joint operations.

Is it possible to find two more contradictory statements by the same person within two posts of one another anywhere on these BBs?

I don't see any contradiction at all.  :huh
Maybe you could help a useless stupid soul like myself learn
a little something by explaining what the contradiction is.  :uhoh

Remember, you're dealing with a total idiot here so use
as many words as are necessary so I'll understand.

I appreciate you taking to time to point this out
so I can corect it. I just need a little more explanation
so I'll understand. Thanks so much for the help!

the problem being that if you don't get a bunch of squads to oppose you it'll just be a hording land steal game, not a good fight.

If we do, we get plenty PMs calling us "TRAITOR!" & "Cheater!" from Rooks and loads of "Spy!" cries from country we just went to...

I switch all the time and don't get too many "spy" or traitor complaints.. In fact I used to fly mostly Rooks but because my squad always flies low numbers we always end up on Bish or Nits in orange these days.. Always too many Rooks on.

I did fly in mid war for a bit a few tours ago and there was a lot of crying in there about it. Mostly because I was killing a lot of milk runners..  :devil
