i was png'd pretty early on. father died...went on a rant. thought about it....called skuzzy.
he was nice enough to let me come back and not have to rebirth as a shade. he has been incredibly helpful every time that i have talked with him
and i know him to be a fair and decent man.
i have enjoyed this place and the game since and am still learning the ropes on both.
perhaps we all do pretty things in life, and it's nice sometimes to know that you can make it better.
so.
the purpose of this thread is to consider the concept and status of probation here in the o'club.
i am wondering what you think of it...what it's value is, and what, if anything, do you think redeems it.

Last night, I was going to spend the night at my girlfriends house, and go to school with her in the morning. Well, I had to wait until her parents got home, (At 10:30) and I couldnt get a ride. So I had to take the bus. So, I grab my school bag for the next day and head down to the bus stop. At around 10:32(pm), I see these two big hawaiian guys walking towards me. Ive been in Hawaii long enough to know I was about to get mugged. So, as is my standard practice, I unzip the sleeve pocket of my leather jacket, remove the 5-inch thumb-assist knife I keep there, and move it to my side pocket for easy accesability. They get down there, and theyre acting friendly, but like I said, I know better. So with one hand on a knife and the other on my wallet I returned their small talk. Then, at around 10:34pm, it happened. He said "Nice to meet you", and shook my hand. I returned the hand shake, taking my hand off of my knife for a crucial second. As soon as our hands parted, he threw the first blow, connecting clearly with the right side of my face. Surprised me, as I wasnt expecting it QUITE then, but I wasn't hurt. In under a second I had my knife out, extended, and within centimeters of his throaght. I was ready to deliver a lethal blow, and would enjoy it SO much. But then my concience kicked in. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said "you're moving with your aunte and uncle in Bel-Air". I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said "Fresh" and had a dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare but I thought now forget it, yo holmes to Bel-Air. I pulled up to a house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabby "Yo, holmes smell you later"
looked at my kingdom I was finally there to settle my throne as the prince of Bel-Air

I am a parolee...I served three years in HTC Prison, and was leader of a prison gang known as the Luftweenies and I have the homemade tattoo of a FW 190 on my chest to prove it. We battled other gangs like the P-51s, the Spits and the Bombers- and you know what? I survived the hardest joint in cyberspace- where guys like Creamo, MrFish, Drunky and Easymo would kill you for a pack of smokes and not even bat an eyelash. I paid my debt to HTC society and am back, but there's one thing that really, REALLY bugs me here-
Some of you "probation" guys act like you're John Dillinger or something. Seriously!! "Probation" means you didn't even commit a board felony! You didn't post porn, drop F-Bombs, or launch into a personal attack against Skuzzy! For the most part all you "probation" guys are wannabees who wouldn't have lasted five minutes in the joint- so I suggest those of you misquoters, bad linkers and mild name callers wake up and smell the coffee, become good citizens and follow the rules lest you end up with a ribbon in your hair, sitting on a bad man's lap in the exercise yard.

Parolee is herpes it ain't ever going away, you really screwed up.

I have them all the time and I've never been on probation. My wife says she could blind me with dental floss.
