Was in the game before, think it would make a great addition - Please add Erla-Haube canopy on it also :salute
-
I just asked for it, but hey, a 2nd cant hurt.
Go to Wiki, and put some more info of it up so you dont look like an idiot posting (like I did.... :rolleyes:)

We never had a 109G-10 in AH, sure it was designated the 109G-10, but it had the performance specs of the 109K-4. The difference in the 109G-10 we use to have and the 109K-4 is there is no 20mm option for the k4
-
I ask for the 109 g10 still want it
-
PUT IT IN ACES HIGH 2!!
(I cant shoot at all with that damn tater gun!)

That is the idea why I would like to see it re-added to the game, G-10 being based on G-14 design I am not sure but I believe Rüstsatz kits would of been added to give it options - where K model has no kits, and the proposed designs such as bf 109k-14 were never completed or put into production.
* R I belly bomb rack for 250 kg bomb
* R II belly bomb rack for 4 x 50 kg bombs
* R III belly drop tank (300 l/79 US gallons)
* R IV two 30 mm MK 108 underwing gunpods (not in operational use)
* R VI two 20 mm MG151/20 underwing gunpods
However - I am having a very hard time finding any real data on the bf109-g10 and any modifications given for it.

K-4s were delivered with wing gondolas. They COULD use kits.
They did not ever use them operationally is the concensus.
The gondolas degraded performance so badly that they were not used, especially at this time, late in the war, when the allies had superior performing planes and massive numbers.
Now consider this:
The 109K-4 COULD carry gondolas, none did for survival's sake.
The 109G-10 saw service the same month as the K-4 did, and would have had less performance.
The 109G-10 would face the same enemy as the K-4.
So, if the K-4s were delivered with gondolas and none were used that way, why would the G-10 use them?
IMO the G-10 shouldn't be readded. G-6/AS maybe G-14/AS. However, *if* a G-10 was added it should probably have the same lack of weapons options as the K-4 has now, only with a 20mm nose gun instead.

I have to agree with Krusty maybe for the first time :rolleyes: There just is not enough of a difference to justify another 109 nor spitfire, we have enough models as it is.

Go ahead, I cant shoot w/ that stupid tater anyways :D

I'm with Krusty on this one... an AS variant would be a better addition.
-
Enough with the false dilemmas. I want a G-6/AS and a G-10. For that matter, an E-7 would be cool to really round out the early planeset and would be helpful for Afrika scenarios.
But a G-10 is first on my list. :aok

i was flying the 109g2 cow over the weekend. 6 kills zero losses.

Well I would honestly love the G-6/AS and G-10/AS - one for mid war, one for late war - honestly we do need high alt fighters for FSO events and its truely no fun to fly a lower alt modeled 109 at 25k or higher.

The G-10/AS would have worse performance than a regular G-10, so that wouldn't help anything. Either a G-6/AS or G-14/AS would be the way to go, both of which reached production numbers of more than 1000 (Prien and Rodeike).

How would the G6A/S compare to the standard G6 and, say, the G14 at typical MA altitudes? (10K and below, discounting Rooks).

More or less the same as the G6. The point of the G6/AS is that it can perform at high altitudes. That's the point of the G10 as well...
