I know all the talking heads have been asking what happened in recent weeks that made Obamas poll numbers slide......and I think they found their reason....

Michelle Obama is not going on Obama's trips to Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, and Europe, it will be reported on Thursday.
She does not plan to deliver policy speeches during the presidential campaign.
Nor would she have a policy role in the Obama administration; she would be raising their daughters.
And she may or may not have a speaking role at the Democratic National Convention, the NEW YORK TIMES will reveal on Thursday, newsroom sources tell DRUDGE.

I'm getting sick of all the crying about every little thing Obama or his wife does. It would be one thing if the guy was in the white house and doing things that were legit to itch about.. However you guys whine like school girls about anything from Lapel Pins to how he says the Pledge of Allegiance.

Now George W. Bush has reversed the executive ban, however, a DEMOCRAT controlled Congress REFUSES to even consider reversing their ban. See, the current President has reversed the mistake of his predecessors, albeit a little late, but the Democrat controlled Congress refuses to reverse the mistake of their predecessors.
Oh, and one more thing. It was Al Gore Jr., a DEMOCRAT, who wrote "we should force the price of fuel higher, by whatever means necessary, until the internal combustion engine is too expensive to be run." That's a paraphrase, not a direct quote. But read his "Mein Kampf", AKA "Earth in the Balance". That is a specific goal of his. Sort of interesting, isn't it?

Well said. Also, remember that Obama is AGAINST offshore drilling since it will not give "immediate relief". Well, all I can say about that is WHY DID YOUR PARTY stop this from happening 20 years ago ? More importantly, WHY ARE YOU STOPPING IT from happening 20 years down the line? If it will take 20 years for said action to "take effect", then I guess we better GET TO IT.
Obama's solution - a rebate - aka a welfare handout - and a taxation on oil company profits, to be handed back to the poor. Who do you think will pay for this ? Don't think said oil companies won't pass the Obama Tax back to the consumer. You can't make something out of nothing.
Furthermore, Obama stresses that the only longterm solution is to find some kind of new magical energy supply that will obsolesce existing supplies... Sorry B-Hussein-O, but what exactly are you looking for ? Jetson's style flying saucers ? Pixie dust ? Perpetual Energy Machines ?
