is this plane a misinterpretation from a bad photo or did they really have tri colors this brite?

Probably just plain wrong colors while trying to look tricolor. You'll also notice the paint is more glossy, which IIRC the tricolor birds were all non-specular.

what probably happend there is, that it was refurbished and was painted with car paint.

That's a warbird, 'restored' Corsair. Using most modern warbirds as a template for a paint scheme for a WW2 bird, is not the way to go. Glossy paint is often used for ease of maintenance.
There are some that are done with matt paint schemes to replicate the real deal, but not many.
