I'm getting the impression that most AH pilots are either middle-aged men that carry the subtle smell of flatulence and stale beer, or pre-pubescent boys that only a Catholic Priest could love.
A good demographic for airplane wars, but hardly a sexy draw for new members.
So here is my new request...
A feature on vox that makes all you old farts/underage squeakers sound like super hot babes in their early-mid 20s!!
The voices must change in pitch, of course, but I also think that periodic giggles and groans of ecstatic fulfillment should somehow be worked into the sound system. These noises, pre-fabricated and recorded by the AH crew, can be inserted randomly into moments of silence, or can be designed to automatically replace other sounds commonly audible through VOX: (whining about being vulched, bragging after successfuly hoing an enemy, complaining that somebody went above NOE and gave away the mission...)
The end result should be a veritable party line of female voices having a great time, perhaps killing some planes, perhaps enjoying a good, wholesome time together in a hottub.
This idea is the business.

Hey man, I'm down with the 'different strokes for different folks' policy... If you like boys your own age, far be it for me to judge... I'm just out here campaigning for those of us with more pedestrian tastes, that's all.

The PlayStation 3 actually has an option that allows you to modify the pitch of your voice coming through the mic. *nudge nudge* Eh? Eh?
But then again...who doesn't want to fly around with a bunch of people pretending to be burly black men? ........

to build on this concept maybe a webcam option, that is tunable to certain indivaduals. So you can have a "face to face" conversation with.

Listen Angel, if your brain didn't come equipped with the ability to ignore then you should go complain to your parents for mating inside the immediate family--it's a frowned upon practice in most states, and has been for some time now. You should also refrain from becoming the 3rd or 4th most frequent poster on threads that you claim to hate because it makes your battle with puberty look even more hopeless than it likely is.
In all seriousness, I think you just want to take part in these fun and exciting requests. Sort of like the new kid in the group of friends that's always doing odd things to get the others to like him. I warn you though, eating worms and licking dog turds really doesn't translate well into the forum world. Now go you rmerry way, make some more posts about nooks or submarines, or perhaps provide a history lesson in the O'club about what you saw on the military channel last night and have yourself some ovaltine. You deserve it.

Dear Angel,
With all due respect I noticed that you signed into the boards in November 2007. I logged in the first time a few months before that. I now have 644 some odd posts since first logging in, you have over 2400. Are you saying that out of those 2400 plus posts, there are none that were not worthwhile? Slipknot spamming? Be careful when you point a finger at someone, because there are four pointing right back at ya. There is no disrespect intended Angel, but I would leave the BBS policing to HTC.

His requests are starting to grow on me ... basically due to the fact that they are genuinely funny, creative, and well written, and he is most of all consistent.
While contemplating some of his post last week, and reading some of the flames, it appeared to me that some of us (and I was one) take a lot of things to seriously and a little humor is always a good thing.
His retorts to those who get upset by his postings and try to flame him, are just as amusing and clever as the original post.
Slipknot ... keep up the good work, but some semblance of restraint in the number of posts per week may go a long way.

Most of the wishes on this board are tedious, pedantic, and insignificant things that only one or two people want and don't matter at all.

"Well, I think the Spit IX should be 7 mph faster because thats what it said in the field manual during WWII." "Also, I think the 109 G-14 should have a field mod to carry a 50MM cannon because thats what some obscure historical report said it had for one squadron."

There is a difference between asking for something that is so insignificant that it will never ever happen in a million years, and a valid wish that would be helpful to the game as a whole.
I've no problem with the latter.

My gut feeling is that they hardly refer to them anyway. If they went with what everyone was wishing for, we'd be back to single MA, a million rubbish early war planes added, no puffy ack, etc..

They may be "rubbish" to you, but to other they are fun alternatives. If you are content flying you LW ride, so be it, but others can have just as much if not more fun in their "rubbish" rides. Also, they clearly do check the wishlist because Pyro locked a thread a day or so ago, not only that, but hitech as responded to numerous wishes.
I'm sorry they don't come to every thread and babystep you as to why they would or wouldn't do something, I'm sure they'll work on that :rolleyes:.

I can't believe this guy! Everytime I read these threads I burst out laughing.
Like someone said, not only are his threads actually funny, but they are very well written too. His reponses to the flames are written just as well, with a very nice language and choice of words. It's a pleasure reading his replies :aok

Dale and crew are pretty smart cookies in my opinion. Just because 80 percent of us cry like little babies for something we think we want doesn't mean that it won't be the thing that kills the game if they gave it to us, and they (again IMO) do a pretty mean job of listening to us just enough without letting what they are hearing override their own focus and vision.
