Yup cats are to smart mine ran away for a week both of them, wife went crazy with lost posters, than thay just showed up one day like nothing was wrong,, my favorite game "kick the cat" .. dont worry .. :D
-
My cat came back after 3 days. A little skinnier but just fine. No idea where she was during that time.
-
Has your cat ever been outside? I hope she comes back OK. Beautiful kitty, hope nobody swipes her up and keeps her for themselves! I never let my kitty outside and have worried she has "Escaped" a couple of times. Keep us updated if she comes back. I love kitties! Here is a picture of mine. Cairo.

There are too many cars and people that walk their dogs without leashes for me to let my cats outside. Plus cats can do serious damage to bird populations.

Not sure if you have ever read this, but this defines how I think of cats and dogs. Very funny in my opinion.

Im working on it one at a time, one at a time.I agree. I changed it to feral cats. Its not my fault he or someone in his family was irresponsible enough to let a known flight risk have the opportunity to escape.
Again, the original thread was not about feral cats, or had anything to do with the destruction feral animals have on habitats around the globe. Your motive for posting was clearly to incite a reaction, I found your post to be quite insensitive and off topic from the original post, that is all. If shooting stray cat's gives you the warm fuzzy's, then good for you. I find it sad and pathetic that you seem to enjoy it so much, but that's just me.

Mission accomplished?
-
Here are my two.
MAX - at his usual station keeping my Office safe from intruders. He is my buddy and sets on my computer desks and watches me fly and bats at the airplanes.
(http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/9130/camera4001vi0.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)
JINX - being her usual "Girlie" self mugging for the camera when she is not beating up on Max. She is my first pet cat - got her from some people that kept her locked in a garage all the time and she got some kinda mange all over her. Was very sick and I nursed her back to health. Been my baby ever since.
(http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/3949/set1003my7.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)
Jinx is close to 4 and Max has just turned 2. Both weigh 17 pounds and by the way you eat you would think they are a bunch of TIGERS! LOL!
-
Mission accomplished?
Yes and no. I suspect you were anticipating someone jumping on the peta bandwagon and crying that killing animals is murder. Or maybe you thought a few brain dead squeekers would think it is "cool" that you shoot cats. So yes, I reacted to you but not in a way I think you were expecting. If you feel so strongly about feral animals, cats in particular you should start a thread to discuss that topic. If you were posting to simply try and make a guy who has lost a beloved pet feel even worse, you should get a life.
-
Thanx.PETA much? Would you rather the feral animals kill off the song bird population? Maybe you would like them to spread rabies and other diseases? I only kill them to protect my animals. What do you think would happen to them if I trapped them and carried them to the local shelter?
Not into PETA (commies) but I have been a cat owner and I have raised Doves for ceremonies. Cats do what they do because its their nature. If you like to eat cats then thats different otherwise your worse then PETA. Rather then shoot them just keep a few Rotweillers around. Your animals will be safe and the cats wont come near.
-
...If you were posting to simply try and make a guy who has lost a beloved pet feel even worse, you should get a life.
I wasn't going to comment, but this is exactly right. I understand and sometimes laugh at the flame wars that happen here, most are amusing, and personal insults happen...
But whenever it is about cats someone has to come alone and be a complete jerk talking about, condoning, and enjoying the murder of a cat, there has even been comments to the torture of cats here in the o'club. I find it EXTREMELY offensive every time. I have gotten into arguments in the past about it, but it seems the moderators prefer the cat murders to us puppy stompers.
-
Wow alot of sensitive little souls here I see.
1. I could care less about feral animals. (cats, dogs, ect.)
2. I could care less about others feelings.
3. I could care less about what people say or think about me. Especially faceless personalities on the internet.
4. This is good entertainment. It passes the time. So please continue.

Hey Sol,
Have your Vet look to see if the cat has a "Flea Alergy." My cat Jinx has it and when the fleas bit her it has some kind weird reaction that made the hair on top of her rump start to fall out. (Only place she couldn't reach to run them off I guess). The Vet gave her a shot and it cleared right up and she started growing her hair back and you can't even tell it today.
:aok
-
No fleas at all, have had him checked MANY times for it... was my first thought actually. THis started right after he got neutered.

I once had a cat that would disappear regularly for weeks at a time. He would show up later just fine then gone again. Then one day while riding my bike around the nabour hood I spotted him at another house. I stopped to pick him up and the chick living there said WTF are you doing to my cat? I said your cat this is my cat! Turns out the little bastard had been living a double life. The chick said one day when she came home from work he just follwed her into the house and started living there. Couldn't blame him cause she was fine!

If you have 2 male cats living in the same house you better get them neutered, otherwise they will piss on everything trying to mark their territory.

Oh yeah, dont worry Zoo. I once lost my satan-spawn when we first got her. It was at my mum's work (My mum INSISTED on taking her to work, and REFUSED to put her in a cage, no matter how much I asked. Carried her in by hand) and I had to carry her. A truck had a bit of a collision (Nothing big, just backed into a wall, big noise no damage) and the cat FLIPPED. She launched out of my arms, and disappeared. This was in the middle of a big industrial district, so... she was pretty much gone. I spent all day outside looking for her. About 8 hours later, one of my mum's co-workers (Who knew we lost the cat) came up to me and said "Is this your cat?". The damn thing had been hiding in a bush watching me ALL DAY! Your cat is probably spying on you from some tree, waiting for dinner.

i dont understand... y do u all shave yur cats? lol (im a dog guy)

Its fun,,, :rofl,, My cat was wild cat when he showed up at the door as a baby, when he got older his fur was so thick and long most likely from years of wild breading. He would get hair balls no matter what we would do or give him. The little rat would puke em up not very fun picking up cat hair ball puke. So he gets the buzz cut that fixed the hair ball thing. Plus he looks pissa like a little lion and in the summer time keeps him cooler. As for my buddie Jill well she shaves her cat just to piss him off :rofl gotta love her :aok

Maybe the best, most accurate quote ever where cats are concerned.
-
No.. laughing at all the thumbcat shaving and random cat humor.
That's a nice looking cat. I wish I'd kept pics of my last one.. It had a bent tail that stayed curved over the top of her back, spiraled like a longhorn. She had a certain character that made her prance with hair standing up, crabbing toward and away from you, at least once a day.. Really a hyper cat. She'd pounce around from normal gait, for the slightest reason, litteraly like an antelope.

I had a cat that we shaved every summer... for some reason his fur would get completely matted, so much so you couldn't get your fingers in to touch his skin. So we would shave him up. He never liked the process, but he loved the after effects... he'd hop around and roll around purring on everything... it was pretty funny.
Some people do it just to keep their kitties cool in the summer...
-
Thanks again, still no sighn of him yet :(

My cat is an Egyptian Mau... I was on a flight home from Florida and the move Cat Woman was on and there was one of these cats in it. I thought they were so cool looking I had to have one, unfortunately the closest breeder was in Denver. It was worth it though, even people who hate cats admit she is cool :aok

The nice thing about cats is if it comes to you it wants to. If a dog comes, he thinks he has to.

You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat. -- Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio
