i wish HTC give every squad a battel cruiser under control. the cruisers are built up in the ports. and controlled as our CV groups but only for the squadmembers visible and gun able.
so we get More ship traffic on the see and more see battels.
and the cruiser is named by the squad.
what do you think?

No, not cruisers, they are too light. I want Battleships! now that would be awsome! A battleship for each squad, think of it...

yea and plus thats all you would see when you go over seas to bases n such, the game would be way more difficult, not that i have a problem with that, but think of all the squads, and what the seas would look like, would be assume though, even if a squadron had a airfield to customize for them selves lol

what do you mean? it would be only an extra in the game all squadmambers can join the ship. and the normal CV groups are for everyone. why did you see a problem with that.
@ p1tiger i don't think it would be so much. the sees are big and the ships need to spawn or to respawn at the exsistings ports.

maybe just a battle cruiser anyone could spawn from the cv???? it would add another option to the boats section, and have 3 or 4 AA guns perhaps and a double 8 inch battery?

Not a bad use for perks. Why not let any ship be spawnable with perks? Or let people add on to fleets with perks? That way a squad could let someone spawn a cv for 500 perks, others join that fleet with cruisers at 300 , dd's at 75 etc... Supplies could be flown in with goons. Fleets could be entirely user spawned with a cap based on available ports. Plenty of options to add gameplay and a useful perk economy if you sit down and think about it.

I'd love to see the Naval war, cranked up to a respectable level..
In a perfect AH world, we would have...
The Carrier fleets, (Task Forces)..
But with 2 carriers, and 2 AA Cruisers instead of heavy..
And with a more REALISTIC damage model..
ie: Crater the deck, no planes fly, untill its repaired..
Also
Amphibious Invasion fleets, (Task Forces)...
1 Slow Old Battleship, 1 hvy Cruiser, 4 APA's (Assault Transports),
2 LST's, and 5 Destroyers... Fleet Capabilities?
How about this?
Battleship; does what battleships do.. Go's boom on Air/sea/land targets w 14in guns..
Heavy Cruiser, Does the same, just like we have now..
APA's, would spawn LVT's as normal.. And also LCVP's (Higgins boats) with drones.. That could beach and drop 30 troops each..
LST's could beach, and spawn 5 gv's each.. Any kind you wish!!! Like seagoing VH's..
Destoyers would act as normal, escorts...
All ships would have normal auto/manned Ack guns...
If ya sink the APA's, no more LVT's or landing craft...
If ya sink the LST's, no more vehicle spawns...
Fleet commanders would have a list of ships available in the fleet, and could release them at will, to player control for landing op's..
Players would also have spawnable Destroyers, (like PT boat)...
Fubuki's would be REALLY cool.. with Reloadable Longlance Torps and smokescreens...
Also:
Surface combat fleets, (Task Forces)...
2 Fast Modern Battleships, 2 hvy Cruisers, 5 destroyers..
Mission, to protect your own fleets, and hunt down the enemies fleets...
Each port, would spawn 1 each of the 3 task forces, the 3 TF's would make up a Fleet...
To survive, they would have to co/op...
Naturally the seaside Base/towns would need strengthening as well
Manned Heavy/light ack in the towns...
VH's in the towns..
14inch disappearing gun, shore batteries in open pits, w 360deg traverse...
Along w the 8inch we already have...
This probably deserves its own topic in the wishlist, but I already wrote it...

"squadhangar" is a problem. It should never exist in AH, imho, like squad perk pool or squad-something-else (logo dont count).

We just control what can be spawned (from a port - you have to get into the action from there) based on the number of squad members logged in and active (not AFK):
1: Mae West life vest
2: Two man inflatable raft with broken paddles
3-5: 10' aluminum fishing boat with a 5HP motor and one gallon of watery gas
6-10: LVT (any type)
11-20: PT Boat
21-30: DD
31: CA
32: CV (no escorts)
33: SSN-666 (Hawkbill; better known as The Devil Boat)

we would be up to our knees in cruisers named bob and joe; maybe even steve.
although maybe 1 battleship per country.

thats not a big problem. if only squads with for example 10 people can have a ship.

and if a country can lounche 20-30 ships its not so bad.
in reallife every country did have more ships expezialy the big ones.

this was too long for me to read, but i believe i agree with your initial statement... they need to vamp up our fleets... add more CVs, give more DD DDE CA BB BBD LST different speeds per task force... id love to see an island hopping campaign spawn up and c island maps with sporadic damaged fields and no supplies, and some islands taken deep in enemy territory but with the country that it was taken from not be able to retake it easily...etc... like the PTO in WWII... the Americans did this the entire 2nd half of the war... and it'd b nice to attack "armed convoys" at sea that were intended to resupply fields that have DDEs etc escorting... PT boats would become more useful and some fleets can cover convoy routes with their aircraft

I think a couple TFs make up of 1 or 2 BBs and 4 CAs with DD escorts would be nice. Have them start at ports deep in your country's territory.

no more like 1-3 destroyer, 4-7 cruiser, 8-10 battleship, 11-15 CV/light escort, 16-etc. CV and heavy escort.

the maps are so big you will never find these 20-30 ships if you doesnt search them.
