Oh no, the wing is necessary for perspective. I think he'd just rather it be connected to a man's airplane. :D

Looks superb.

Might be time for a new monitor that can hack super duper resolutions. 1400x900 is getting long in the tooth.

I think the trees have better textures...at least they looked different (?) in that fps-test-thingie...

Night with the stars is cool and I'd like to see some night fights in the game but with the test program it's too dark to see anything. Maybe adjusting brightness would help. :aok

It's really not a difficult or unreasonable wish. Just a color table for the stars. A text file with a non-texture RGB value (or whatever) for each star, or a small index of values for each star to be categorized into. (e.g. 3 or 4 shades/hues of blue, orange, red.) A tiny weight in game resources for lots of added immersion.

And no, tracers weren't all yellow either (http://taenia.homestead.com/files/wwii_TracerColors.htm). Same thing here. Unexpensive feature (5 colors total - red, white, blue, yellow and green) for more added immersion. By unexpensive I mean it only costs those 5 extra values, instead of e.g. a wish for pixel shaded tracers that actually glow.
