Tough someone would say that.
Here is my response:
"Im just using my Resources"

you might want to include the bomber that competed with the b29 for the war department, just to add a little extra flavour. B31 Dominator. I is a pumped up b24 with a huge single rudder. a few were built and flew in combat.

Track down a copy of Steve Birdsell's book "Saga of the Superfortress."

typo error. Douglas was the designer of the bomber you mentioned, not Consolidated.

B-32 Dominator?

Cliff notes (thank me later):
All B-29's are round at one end, Very VERY long in the middle, and then
round again at the far end.
-
b29's most notable identifying feature is the very large price tag ... :O

Have you decided on your topic yet? Or are you just looking for resources then decide on your topic? Lots of resources just by searching google. Try checking Boeing.com in there history archives. I think it is online.

Are you sure it wasn't the former he fell off of?
Latter: of, relating to, or being the second of two groups or things or the last of several groups or things referred to
Ladder: a structure for climbing up or down that consists essentially of two long sidepieces joined at intervals by crosspieces on which one may step
Pay attention in school kids...grammar police. :D

Try avoiding the usual items that are widely known to the public, and maybe get in depth with some original approaches and a decent depth of information. You might start with its development, the cost and degree of technical refinement required for an a/c like that, and then move on to the initial deployment in the CBI, then to the Pacific, the problems with bombing in the Pacific Jet Stream at high alt (which was barely understood at the time), the altering of tactics by Gen. Le May to low alt area night bombing, ect.

grammar nazi :/

This is a bit late but here is some information about "Silverplate" B29's which were 15 or so B29's outfitted for delivering atomic weapons (such as a reduction in armor, armament, different props, etc). Either that or there are a bunch of books available for purchase, just type "Silverplate B29" into google. Cheers.

The B-31 crashed on landing on it's maiden flight... Bummer... :lol
"As a result, the initial 40 aircraft delivered were used only as trainers starting on 27 Sep 1945."
Uh... you are clearly difficult to land... We'll use you to wash out the noobs.

Typo? The B-31 was a paper design so the only crashing it would have done would have been into the waste basket.
