Post by: JBJB710 on September 08, 2010, 11:03:38 PM
Do you think you can add this vehicle into the game:

Called the Panzer VI Ausf. B Tiger II (aka Tiger II, Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. B , Tiger B, Königstiger (German for "Bengal tiger"), King Tiger, or Royal Tiger)

why is it that no one seems to want some EW and MW tanks ?

Your wish has merit, and I would like to See the Koinstiger some day, but not now.

What I would like to see before this is a very extensive list, something we can use for EW/MW scenarios, with some LW vehicles that would (IMO) take precedence over the Koinstiger:

Tanks

Panzer III Ausf E
Panzer III Ausf H
Panzer III Ausf L
Panzer IV Ausf E
Panzer IV Ausf G
Matilda
Cromwell Mk IV
Churchill Mk III
Churchill Mk VIII
M3 Stuart

Tank Destroyers/Self propelled guns

StuG III Ausf D
Stug III Ausf G
Marder II
Archer
M3A1 75mm GMC/T-48 57mm GMC
SdKfz 251/22
Hetzer
M36 Slugger
M18 Hellcat

Up close, the Tiger I and Sherman Firefly could kill it. At any real range though, another tiger II is the only thing that could kill it from the front, asside from the 190F8, and other large ord carriers.

When/if we get it, I say it be given a price of 75 perks at least, if not 100 or 125. Hell, maybe even 150 would be needed. What the 262 is for aircraft, the Tiger II is for tanks.

agreed...

By the way, since ranger's map went into the AvA, i've been wanting to see more Pnzr IIIs and Crusaders than anything else with a turret... EXCEPT for the M-18 :noid

GV's cant even SEE an enemy GV's icon. And how would the reduced ground to air icon range work? You're sitting in a tank which is much more stable than a plane, the commander likely has a pair of binoculars, and the gunner has a telescopic sight. Seems like it would be EASIER to identify aircraft from a GV than from another aircraft.

So what phatzo? Its an SU-122, which didn't have great armor penetration properties. Are you sure you weren't thinking of the ISU-122?

You totally had the chance to remind us the M18 could kill a KingTiger................    :old:  And you let it slide.   :O

agreed...

Mention it, yes, point out it's deadly firepower to make Tiger's around NDisles cringe in fear...... no.

I'd like a Pershing for a counter to the Tiger II, would be able to go toe to toe with one.

ack-ack

+1000  And from a practicality standpoint, we should get the M26 first!   :salute

you really think the M-18 76mm M1 is going to be able to do more damage than the M4A3 76 M1 cannon we have already? :aok it'd be just as tough although doable.

Still, you have misses, those insane ricochets that pop up every once in a while, and the fact that a Koinstiger could take more than one hit at long range.

the amount of ammo was never a problem, it was why they could only carry 20 rounds that was the problem, like the IS-2, the ISU-152  used propellent bags rather then 1 piece shells, so there for, you need storage for the charge, and the round also requiring long loading times, but hey, if you can kill anything with one round, just don't miss and reloading isn't an issue :P
