1) Values fighter skill, and no I don't mean the running away timid kind (which I define here as a K/H of >5). I mean ACMing
2) Members that have a sense of humor, can dish it out and take it and still laugh about it.
3) Members that are willing to help other members get better, and make a deliberate attempt at doing so.
4) Is almost devoid of politics, IE no ranks (other than a CO or whatever) and members are just...members.

we are in kill points for fighters on place No 1 since more than a year in LWA, because mostly we don't fly the uber planes.You can find us often in eny 15 or 20 planes, thats the reason we have the most Kill points there. We only accept pilots above 21 because of the special sense of humor of some members :angel:
The LD won the Squadron duelling league season 1, so i think we got some fighter skills, but at least we try to setup a great teamplay. Induvidual pilot skills like KD KH and hit ratio is a nice to have, but without having a team SA its nothing worth from LDs point of view
But at least fresh pilots should be average pilots, otherwise they frustration level get too high for new member! Good sportsmenship, no ego drama, good laughs with your buddies on TS and a nice teamplay where everyone shares kills.
I am pretty sure there are much more squadrons which fullfill your needs, but sometime it looks like it might not an easy find

This one is loaded on the front end a bit. At times it is necessary to fight in a manner that is not direct, and involves a lot of attack and retreat to whittle away at the enemy. Some call this timid, which is a misnomer. It is a valuable set of skills to have in your toolbag, in addition to the turn & burn ACM skill set I believe you are referring to. So to answer your question, Yes the Pigs value a rounded fighter pilot skillset-including BnZ, E-fighting and TNB.

I would say we help anyone who asks, but do we have a deliberate training program? No.

I try to avoid talking politics and religion with friends and customers. Not everyone has that personal control. No Pig is valued more than others, and the CO's are more shepherds than order giving SOB's.

49th fighter group.
1) we are mostly dogfighters/furballers, and don't really do much of the "win teh warz" crap asside from some occational bombing of ordinance and fuel.
2) so long as there are enough people on to have a conversation, and a conversation is wanted, you'll always find one. You'll need to be able to sit through some of the more lewd remarks though, and razzing the CO is perfectly acceptable.
3) we're always willing to help one another. Just last week, our XO left a good fight to help me set up a gunsight for the WGr21 rockets in the DA. Took about half an hour to get set up and adjust the gunsight. I'm more of a GV'er though, so don't come to me for ACM help.
4) We have ranks, but they don't mean chit. Officially, I'm a Colonel in my squad, but I've taken orders from a leiutenant when he knows more than me about the type of hijinx we're up to. I've also given orders to our CO when we were in GV's.
Contact me on the BB's, or talk to anyone with the numbers 49 followed by some letters in the game. Our websight is currently out of date, and our new one isn't finished yet, so bear with us. We're rooks for the next 3 days, untill we go knit on the 15th, in the interest of international relations :D. In all seriousness though, try and be polite when talking to players from another squad or country. Vox 149 if you see us on.

Lots of squads fall into this category. We fly joint ops with many squads as we rotate through the chess pieces and find more squads willing to laugh, help and ignore ranks than obnoxious, helpless and "all about me"
Search around, ask if you can tune to and fly with a different squad once a week or even every night, you'll find what your looking for.

I was also making a joke about wanting this guy for his skill to make up for a lack on your part (although this is simply implyed, not even hinted at), wich is, again, absurd. I have fought some of you before, and I know you are good.
I also don't see what the running joke about me not reading threads is about. I read the threads I post in, or at least the posts relivant to the quote that will form the subject of my post, regardless of how others try to make it look. I'm human, and if I missed a post that may have altered the context of what I said (I personally don't see one, as it wasn't following from another post) in a way that offends you, please let me know.

If I know the other guy can't get guns on me I'll shoot everytime, no matter how thin the edge. When I'm firing on cylinders, I can take 1/8th - 1/16th shots with confidence. Sometimes he gets it around for the HO and I ram him or have to quickly move, but it comes with the territory when u fly aggressive and to maximize lethality.

Generally, I try to stay at least 15 degrees off the nose (but I'll take as little as 8 if I'm pressed for time), since rudder can give him a shot on me, and because its more fun to give him a sporting chance.

Like all good HO tales, this one at length only describes what transpired during the extremely brief and fast merge. I was diving in, typical BnZ maneuver 101 in the Dora, and he turned twords me and then directly up into me at a little over 1.5k out. We then stared straight down each others guns for a couple seconds as he accepted the merge, knowing what was about to transpire was a straight-up and naughty HO. The distance rapidly closed and we were both accepting the HO merge... except I foolishly erred not to take the shot and comit the jib, instead nosing down further to pass under him in an attempt to get him to either kill some E with neg-Gs if he tried to nose on me, or to pull up vertical further (there was a second friendly in close persuit of the enemy)... SOMEthing that SOMEbody in a certain K4 didn't hesitate doing the lowly deed with a 30mm HE round at the last possible second and at a distance less than 50 meters... for the record, even my grandma could of made that shot, and I like crying over spilled milk (one of these days Grizz, a Dora is gonna HO you, and it will feel GOOD).

No, I would have been dodging your HO then. Whoever finishes the turn first has control. If i finish first and see you going for a evasive maneuver away from my guns I will fire. If you noobface it and keep pulling into me for the HO ram I will move. Capice?

Small correction: Kill points in fighters are not being influenced in any way by the "uberness" (ENY) of your plane. They are just points of damage inflicted on the enemy (+1 pt for a kill)

Instead you join a group known for unspeakable wanton violence; i've even heard some of our members (no names, sorry) kick kittens for fun. I hope you can make this adjustment. i gotta go, i just saw a cat outside....
