Man that was a great game tonight. Oregon played a great game.
-
Yeah that was a hell of a bowl game, probably one of the best BCS games I've seen in a long time.
-
That was a great game for both teams. Not a disappointing WBCS. Oh, consider this a SEC last national championship win for a while.

Why do you post this stuff? Seriously.
GO Auburn!
-
Congrats to both teams. It was a good game.
-
It was a great game , Hats off to Auburn , didnt really care to much for the playing surface, seemed wet and alot of players were slipping, looking forward to next year
-
He posts it just to be a guy to try and start something.
WOW a freshman running back as the offensive player of the game!

Yeah your gonna see that guy in the NFL for sure.

Because I'm putting my bets on Oregon State for a reason.

Hey Oak...the teams in the SEC generally don't have to rebuild....usually they just reload with talent year after year. Don't be surprised if another SEC West division team makes a run at the title again next year.
One thing I can say with confidence is that it will not be Auburn. Alabama and Mississippi State look like early contenders in my view.

It was a joke, loosing up you panties.
Mississippi State maybe, not sure about Bama. What do you think about Les Miles going to Mich?
-
Was pretty good for the parts I caught. Officials did an excellent job too.
-
it was a good game but some of the play calling Chip Kelley made stood out more.
-
I'd say if Les Miles stays at LSU, the SEC could very well have 4 MAYBE 5 teams in the running for the BCS National Championship. If Auburn keeps most of their players, they are in the running, LSU is coming up strong for next year (looks like), Florida has a new coach but still have a solid base, Alabama, Arkansas could be a surprising team. I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC wins the National Championship for years to come.

i think it's a good deal, they need someone like him up in Michigan.
seriously though, i think S. Carolina (no, really) and Alabama will be the SEC next year.
-
S. Carolina
I think the only thing holding them back was their QB, they don't have a bad offense, but they had a mediocre QB.
-
I wish there was a way to mute Brent Mussberger.....

Thats why I listened to the game on ESPN Radio.. Mike Terrico and John Gruden

i wouldn't push it to far saying SEC will win the NC for years to come.

Why not? The SEC was in turmoil this year and we still won the NC. Once Tennessee gets up and running, that is 6 great teams in the SEC. The only bad teams I see in the SEC next year are Vandy and unfortunately, my cats. :cry
Miss St. might also turn some heads next year.
-
Les Miles is staying at LSU so that puts them back in the running to be the SEC West Champ but Alabama and Mississippi State are the ones to beat right now in the West. Auburn is not going to be on top but will give all three of those teams I just mentioned a run for the place at the table in Atlanta next fall. Arkansas is probably not going to make it and Florida is going to be a solid 9-10 win team next season. The problem they (Florida) are going to have is adjusting to Charlie Weiss' offensive scheme.
On another note....look for a dark horse non-SEC team to make a big run and probably get in the title game.
My favorite team from way back when I was in middle school watching Danny McManus at Florida State.

The hype that SEC is in don't last forever. just saying.

Wonder what Mich was going to offer him?
-
Probably not nearly enough to cover what it would have taken to get Miles to bring his offensive and defensive coordinators with him to Michigan. Plus when he didn't get the job ahead of Rodriguez in 2007 I would imagine that Miles cost to Michigan went up substantially in Miles head.
Either way Miles isn't going back up north and LSU keeps the "mad hatter".

Yea, i really do not see Miles doing good at Mich or in the Big 10. He is better off at LSU where he has chemistry with the players.

I never said it was going to last forever, it is going to last for a while, though. Even if the National Championship isn't won every year by the SEC, there will definitely be SEC teams in the running.

Edit
I started to post a tongue in cheek joke comment here but figured it would get blow WAY out of proportion.

Here's to the ugliest mascot in college football. I've hung with them for many years and a #2 ranking sits just fine with me.
Although I have to admit Oregon won the hot cheerleader contest in the bowls this year ;)

Yes, all SEC teams think they won the NC when just one won it.
-

well, i know Garcia, and if he wasn't such a damn partier, we would prolly be in Auburn's situation (remember, when we first played them, they were ranked lower than us)
ah well, sometimes you gotta give a little :lol

"We"
LOL.
We as in the SEC conference. The "we" inculcates the Cats, Commodors, Vols, Tide, Gators, Geaux Tigers, War Eagles (Tigers), Rebels, Bulldogs, Dawgs, Razorbacks and Game "roosters" seeing as the word nazi built into the system will not let me type out the actual term and instead replaces it with "bowling balls."
So yes, "WE."

Oh ok, well in that case, I'll say WE won too, since Nebraska is Division 1 football and I will group all div 1 teams together. It's great because we have won the BCS championship every single year since it started. We are really on a roll here!
-
Mine was a much more specific group. Yours is much broader with the entirety of D-1 Football.
-
You know Oak.. as much of a hard time as I like to give you I've always thought well of you.
I think even more highly of you now :D

A twelve team conference isn't really that specific lol.

That reminds me, grizz. Is Nebraska ready for the Big 10 next year?

No.

Mississippi State maybe, not sure about Bama.
Why not Bama? They had a young defense this year that will most likely be pretty good next year after getting a season to play together under their belts. Not only that, the only thing that worries me about our offense is McCarron. It's been proven in the bowl game against MSU that we have some pretty good HB's even if Ingram and/or Richardson leaves (which I hope they don't). I think we only lose 2 players off the offense due to them being Seniors, and I'm not sure about defense. I think Bama will be a contender next year for sure.
-
Ingram, Jones and Darius are leaving for sure...Alabama has a solid offensive line returning next season and a great running back that could put Mark Ingram to shame as the feature back...Trent Richardson. They also have a couple of other running backs in the mix to support him. Darius will be a missing link but they have a returning linebacker and defensive end...Hightower and Upshaw that will help to dominate that front 7 for them.
Although LSU and a couple of others will be just as loaded.
