I think as it is we have several large holes in the tank set, so I would like to request some plugs for those holes.
1) Panzer III Ausf. E
2) M3 Stuart (heavier armor, and more amunition than the M8)
3) BT-7M
4) Panzer III Ausf. H
5) Valntine Mk IX
6) Panzer III Ausf L.
7) Panzer IV Ausf. G

Locher?
Das ist vielen Panzer, die sind das gleiche.

no M-18? :(

churchill with 2pounder for early war with 6pounder for mid to latewar, cromwell and the comet with 17 pounder for late war.

Just trying to fill in the holes, not get stuff for LW and late MW.
1) panzer III E/M3/BT7 for EW standard tanks. Panzer III Ausf H for perk tank, capable of fighting the T-34 (also would be perked)
2) Panzer III Ausf. L/Panzer IV Ausf. G/Valentine IX for MW tanks, german ones could be used for setups like N. Afrika and Stalingrad and still give the M4(75) and T-34/76 a fair chance. (I also imagine the Panzer IV G. would make a great perk farmer. The 50mm armor would give it a LW ENY value of 30 if not 35, but it would still have a good gun).
Churchill and Cromwell would also be good add.
I also wish to add the Churchill Mk. II and III to the list, along with the Cromwell Mk. IV.

Can't leave out the Crusader and it's variants.
Like what I see so far though. :aok

only problem I see is that they really wouldn't be much better than the M8. with the M8, you get weaker armor, but a better gun. IMO, we can substitute and make due untill we fill some of the bigger holes.

Why would you perk a Panzer III with a short barrel 50 or a long barrel 50 for that matter?

M4(76) is perked, and its gun isn't any better than the panzer's. Its perk worthy in the EW arena because (if I had my way) it would be facing mainly M3 stuarts, Panzer III E's, and BT-7's. Picture it like the panther of the EW arena. T-34/76 would be like the Tiger of the EW arena. Give it a base price of 40 (cause you need to be either very good, or lucky to kill a T-34/76 with one of free tanks.

not sure how long you have been playing, but the m4(76) was perked only because of its rate of fire. It could fire 3 shells to other tanks 1. as for the other tanks I highly doub it that they will anything other than hangar queens.

You're missing the point. Point is that a gun isn't the only factor for perking. The panzer III H would have thick (for the period) armor, at 60mm, and would have a powerful (again, for the period) cannon.
And 3-1 is a bit extreme. It wasn't quite 2-1 for the M4 vs the panzer, and its been reduced. Between 1.4-1 and 1.7-1 is a bit more realistic now.
Was also perked because of its toughness IIRC. Shells have a damage value, that value decreases based on how much armor it has to penetrate. I assume it is reduced by range to some degree as well. The M4(76) can take more "damage" than the panzer and the T-34. If it had HVAP like the T-34, it would be perked even higher.

The guns (2pdr or 40mm) were about the same and we don't have much British armor (none) in the game. Plus, it would fit into the EW as any other tank would on the list. Keep in mind tank ace that there was a 6pdr (57mm) variant of the Crusader.

If one is trying to "fill the gaps", I'd start with the Panzer III, M18 (or even M10), StuG III, and Su-100. All four represent something we do not have in AH at the moment, AND were very prominent in WWII. The King Tiger, any of the Soviet JS/ISU, the Pershing, Comet, etc were there too late and contributes too little in comparison to the workhorses of the war. I vote to leave them out until the "gaps" are filled. :)
If HTC were to add the Panzer III (w/ 2 main gun options), StuG III (with 2 gun options to span EW-LW), another variant or 2 to the SdKfz 251, and re-model the Panzer IV H, they not need to add another German gv into the game for another 10 years (2 new German GV's, a re-model, and a addition). :)

True loon, but the Allies would be going "WAHAHAHA!!! HTC doesn't love us :cry". dispite the majority of aircraft being allied.

Nah, if the numbers are looked at the US and Soviets have the bulk of their tank forces represented already in AH (both Sherman's and both T34's). The Germans do have the Panzer IV, Panther, and Tiger, but the StuG III was a huge part of the Germans armored effort.
Depending on the source, there were approximately 9400 Pzr IV's, 8300 StuG III's, 6200 Panthers, 4400 Pzr III's, 2500 Hetzers, 1350 Tigers, and 500 King Tigers. Right there was the bulk of Germany's armored force. With exception to the Panzer II's, everything else used by the Germans were produced in the few hundreds.

still doesn't change responses. I remember reading the boards before joining, the requests for new tanks kept going on after the M4's, and the flyboys said "you just got some new tanks, what we need is x aircraft. It would give y advantages over the version already currently in the game. When you can have that, why would you even bother asking for a completly new addition that would be useful in the MA :headscratch:?"
Happened again after the Panther.
When we got the new Mossie and betty, the bombers kept asking, and the fighters and GV'ers gave their own version of the same response.

We need an earlier Panzer IV as well, say Panzer IV D.
-
If we do a Panzer IV F, we can get 2 for 1. All we would need to get both the F1 and the F2 are different guns, not a dime's worth more. But the 42mm of armor concerns me. Tiger turret top armor is 40mm but the B-25H can penetrate that with its cannon as can the Il-2 (last I checked).

The Matilda, slow as a snail but was very hard to knock out best armor of any EW tank.

T-34 :noid. its 47mm of armor gives between ~95 and 103mm of protection when you factor in the slope.
