resides in McMinnville Oregon, I went and toured it 2 summers ago......it's huge, and it's awesome, but it was ultimately nothing more than the pipe dream of a brilliant but deranged man

That's the official party line.  Secretly, after all the de-classification on WW2, we all know they took part in the D-Day invasion.  Dozens of Allied troops used them as cover by being pulled behind them via ropes and skis.  Unfornutately, no recorded evidence exists of these daring amphibious assaults onto Normandy shores.

Ahhh so true.

It was also designed as a second ARK, the Hull design coming primarily from thought to be lost blueprints made by Noah.  That's why it's made of wood after all.

Little known as well, is that with the wings removed it competed in the 1921 Olympics in the 800man scull class, although it lost to the space shuttle.

You want the queen mary too?  You can't have one without the other.   Besides halloween is coming we can use it for the "ghosts of queen mary"  event we have every year

It never did any practical flying... It was only flying on ground effect when it flew for the first and last time
