But seriously it is only $14.95 a month.

If 14.95 seems too expensive, how about less than 50 cents a day? You hardly get a Coke for that price! :joystick:
-
Derp :P i knew that....still...same problem.
-
if money is so tight that you can't afford to spend $15/month then you should probably be spending your time figuring out your finances and how to improve it instead of wasting time playing a game.
-
he's only 11 guys

If 15 dollars is a lot of money then maybe you should get a job instead of wasting your time playing computer games. Just sayin.
Edit: Just saw he's 11. Yeah nvm then, if your parents pay for it then go for it. :D

When I started playing in seventh grade I asked my parents if I could do extra chores around the house if they would pay for my 15 dollars a month. Worked well.

That's how my boys pay for their Xbox online stuff.

Actually I looked into that to get myself a summer job delivering to the summer houses on the beach.
Unfortunately nowadays paper boys are paper men and drive around in there suburbans throwing papers under everybodies cars intentionally. :(

Yep, the paper business is drying up for kids. But money can always always be made out there. Those same people that get their paper from a man in a van down by the river,,, may also need their porch fixed or gutters cleaned. My 14 yr old went out a got 3 pickup loads of scrap steel and made 85 bucks in 4 hours. Work and money is out there, ya just got to go do it.
edit: my son even paid me for the gas I used hauling him around when he was done and split the money with his cousin and had 40 bucks left over. That comes out to 10 bucks a hour. Not bad for 14. :aok
my other son however wants nothing more then have girlfriends on Yoville :lol  got some work to do on that one. :headscratch:

Well i looked into caddying at the golf course down the road as a friend of mine was. Then they closed a week later since the owner/manager was arrested for something.
I did get a job as a swim instructor (assistant) at the YMCA but it was already half way through the summer. Then that job dried up when the summer ended.
Now though this summer I'll be 16 (finally) and my professor with ERAU is looking at getting a few of us paying internships at L3 communications at our airport. Which is really really cool as L3 upgrades everything from T-6's to C-130's to F-15's.

:lol city boys just don't get it. You got to get your hands dirty once in awhile

Most of the jobs you mentioned people readily advertise around here for. Most people around here have services for those jobs and neither of my parents is available to drive me around to do the scrap metal or anything in that nature. I have mowed a few lawns but most people again 1. Have a service do it. or 2. That is what they do (maintain their house) I live in an area where the demographic is to be frank old retirees who are in good enough shape to take care of their homes and enjoy doing it.
I have looked for any job available and unfortunately there are none around here.
BTW I have no problem getting my hands dirty and I certaintly dont live in a city.

Do you ever get to see the aircraft? I ask because the company I work for makes the formation lights for those. They would be the flat long green lights in varying areas around the external parts. Wingtips, tail, body, etc. Some are dual mode, so green and (look) black. The "black" is actually the NVIS filter over....ah, nevermind.... But anyway, if you see the lights, they came from us here in Lebanon NH. :rock

Thats cool!
No I havent gotten the internship yet. If I do I doubt I'll see very many of the planes because they fly in at around 9'oclock all blacked out, get put into the hanger and close the doors, then leave at 4 AM all blacked out and no one knows what happened or what plane it was unless you can pick it out by engine noise. Some birds stay but only for the big jobs and then when teh classified stuff goes on they do it at night and fly them out right away.
