There was a certain someone in the MA today whos name i will not say because i get pissed thinking about it,basicly this guy was putting america down in every way possable, saying he is glad that alot of people died in ww2 that was american, but what really set me off was when he started making jokes about 9/11, put it this way i was in tears, i had a uncle who died in thoese towers, why are people like this really what did i do to him, he ruined my day.

There are people who have little to do with their time and think generating drama is fun. The single biggest thing they crave is attention, the single thing that destroys them is not having an audience.
Why react to what some nimrod says in the game, it just provides the drama and audience they look for. Just squelch their text and move on.
Why further empower them to continue by coming here and prolonging the event and further enlarging their audience?
Move on. Worlds full of idiots, they can only impact you if you let them. Not a complicated thing to figure out and the younger it's learned the better you age.

follow what both Ink & 1Boner have posted............
but also, do a rightclick on his gameid in the roster and do a text report & a vox report ( if he was using vox as well )
and film it and/or take screenshots of the text buffer showing what was being typed ( you can enlarge the text buffer by toggling the ~ key )
save these films / screenshots to help back up your claims....... then, If You Need to Follow Up or need or asked to show Proof regarding, then go ahead with send an email with attached images to supportAThitechcreationsDOTco m ( AT = @ DOT = . )
Do not give them the satisfaction by replying to them or letting such ignorant individuals know that they are or they might be getting to you or bothering you / upsetting you .....
doing as Ink post, and giving them the impression that it has no affect on you and you are "like a duck, letting the dirty water roll off your back" ............. will cause them to get all jacked out of shape and log or they will go try to find another person they can get a rise out of.....

unfortunate. Extremely immature and emotionally damaged people act out like that to get attention. They dont care what kind of attention it is, they just want to be observed as actually existing. Its a sad and pathetic life a lot of people live these days.

While that sounds very philosophical and poetic, it really isn't applicable to this situation.
Apparently someone was celebrating an event that caused the death of one of Old's family. He has every right to be angry. I know I would have.
The real issue here is how he channels his anger. Over time he will learn to do it in a constructive manner.

While I agree with the advice people are giving, I would like to bring up the fact that some people can't 'just let it go'.
If a relative of mine died in the towers and some dim-wit was making cracks about 9/11, I would probably punch him in the face to be perfectly honest.

I lost a lot of friends in Iraq, I was a civilian contractor, I got to know the young soldiers over there very well. I get very angry when anyone disparages any American, or person of another country that lost their life, in the worst terrorist attack in history, or in the world war on terror, and yes it is a world war. I was witness to what the news media called the worst loss of life, since the 911 attack, the suicide bombing of the dining facility in Mosul. The terrorist that blew himself up in the dining facility came VERY close to getting me. As it is he got himself and 43 other people, one of them was setting across the table from me, before he went to go get ice-cream. So I can feel personally how you would get angry that someone would disparage and say the offensive things that were said. Just remind him that, this is an international war, and that while America had the worst attack, and has lost the most lives in this world war, this fire of war is spreading fast and hotter in Europe, and that at one time, he might be on the subway, or the plane when the next mass attack happens. But when it does, he can feel safe that the U.S. will be there with both financial, and technological assistance. Then don't worry about it, you can not change people's minds, and if you let them get to you they win.
Then up a Chog and stomp the ever living dog snot out of him, don't let him know that he got under your skin.

You forget... most of those who claim to be "informed" and wish to "educate" still only know their side of the story. Very few, and I mean very few people in the world actively understand and engage the issue objectively and without personal bias.

And to Ink, the number of people lost is not a factor in a world war, the number of countries involved, and effected, is what make a world war, and with all the countries involved, we probably have lost 100,000 people. I know that in 05 the insurgents rolled thru Mosul and killed 30,000 Christians that were in that city alone. So yes even if you want to count numbers I would consider this a world war. I can count at least 8 counties that I have interaction with in the 4 and a half years that I was in the country of Iraq.

Is 9/11 really politics? I am a firm believer of everyone has a right to an opinion. It was off color nonetheless but a simple squelch is good enough for that person. Im not sure he/she deserves a ban.

Olds that was very wrong of him to say, who was it? I would really like to know. No one who has lost friends, or family should have something like that said to them. Obviously they have never had been around, been witness to, or been involved with any violent loss of life. He probably has been playing modern warfare and thinks that the bodies just disappear after they get injured. No descent person would ever say that to anyone. My condolences.

With all due respect Olds this is the internet man. We have folks on here 8to80,blind,crippled and crazy. You libel to hear anything at anytime. Sounds to me like the kid or guy has a screw lose. You have to let that stuff roll off your back.

When 9 11 happened, I felt a rage inside of me. I wanted to lash out.
I asked my father if that was how he felt on Dec 7, 1941.
His answer was a simple "yes".
For anyone to make light of the people who have died for our country, whether in war or 9 11, or any terrorist attack is unexcusable.
Whoever it is should be banned forever.

Most have had the Hostile PM. I've been PMed double teamed by enemies because I shot down thier squadie who thinks he's above everyone because he inputs a computer so well. So in retaliation I have targeted thier country and affected thier ability to make war by porking them every chance I got.
Only the truth should bother you not some ramblings of mental deficients. Squelch the offender everytime you sign on.

If we become a mob as a reponse to this player or grant oursleves the right to seek vendetta because we look for events like this to grant ourselves a license of superior virtue. What happens to the the next player who is in the wrong time and place and simply makes a comment that offends one of us or you out of context? Oh, thats right this game is completely anonymous.
I thought we were the "Good Guys" here in America and not a bunch of (instert descriptor) like the person of discussion. Or do you like many these days leave themselves at the door when it's time to put on this games anonymnity superman suit?
HTC has a procedure for something this foul so we don't have to risk becoming as foul oursleves. Unless that is attractive to your natures.
