look at the map and you'll know what i mean.... knits and bish have not fought each other for almost 2 days now.. whats the point of having 3 side war... when its literally a 2 sided one? i say change it to a 2 sided war... like AVA... but late war style.... it will really stop this rubbish from happening again... 2 friggin countries not fighting and ganging up on the rooks... you call that fun?? its ridiculous... we just do not have the manpower to overcome the hordes coming from left right and centre map... fighting 2 major forces with full strength.. sure feels like germany late 1945

This is totally and utterly wrong. We had several, hour long high pitched battles on that front Many knight / bish fields changed ownership. Last night Bish made a push deep into Knight territory, and where kicked again after very intensive and truly massive battles. I was flying exclusively vs Bish for hours. In fact I was noting for about two hours hardly any bigger fight on our Rook front. Of course neither Rooks nor Knights complained about the ganging of the Bish that happened during that time.
But thank you for demonstrating how highly biased player perception is; and this is true no matter if it's about ENY, collisions, country ganging or hording.... "They never fight each other".
Such things are very conveniently only noticed if it's against their side...

you really amaze me..... you're like the guy who told me.. yea we're fighting a long battle... but in actual fact it was only a 2 vs 2 battle or over 3-4 bases conflict... sure.... it must be that the rooks just totally suck at flying and gving that we got our bases pushed back so far... nothing to do with anyone but our faults rite?? amazing :aok

Clearly someone whose clueless, you do realize the map situation switches just about every hour? One minute Rooks are hording, next bishop next knights. Wait for the horde to disperse when the cartoons come on, then you can join your horde against <insert country here>
Its a holiday weekend, which means more players are on - and thus leads to bad things (Horde size grows)....
Find a good book to read if the hording is that bad, or help setup a defense, many better things to do then whine on a BBs.
Thus particular map is not favorable to two countries, whoever is northeast and southeast tend to have a longer fight due to the terrain, Bishops had your position a few weeks ago and they were being pounded left and right, same with the knights before...
I'm suddenly spinning in circles, I guess all countries get horded :\ maybe!

Complete BS

Which demonstrates my point about bias even better.
Within two days Knights captured a lot of Rook bases. Then Rooks came and tool them all back but one. But when I logged in today, it's been reversed again, Knights do own huge part ow Rookland now. All within the last two days.
Almost the same happened on Bish-Knight front. We Nits had been occupying a good part of the Bish coast two days ago, then we were kicked out. Yesterday the Bish pushed deep into our territory (P132 was in their hands for about 10 hours), and last night the Nits finally got almost all of their bases back.

I guess you are just logging in, see the territory your side has lost, and instantly went into whine mode. "They never fight each other"
That's the kind of stuff that really aggravates me. Bias, lies, made up facts.
Philosophical question:
If, according to
- Rooks, Bish and Nits never fight
- Bishops, Nits and Rook never fight
- Knights, Rook and Bish never fight
... where do the hundreds of thousands of kills come from each tour?

we need the country v country stats back. :aok :noid

I flew a good number of sorties against Bishops last night. There was quite the fight around A94 for a good bit of time.

oh sure.... so much conflict... which tells me that rooks must suck bad to have bases pushed that far... every base to defend you get more than 10 people attacking... you try to multiply the number of conflicts going on and the numbers we got? i have been on st8 2 days in a row... and this is what i saw... so your minor conflicts is really nothing to be concerned about... this hording from both countries on rookland has been going on for more than 15 hours today.. when the bish and knits took our bases the exact thing happened.. thats why we lost so many bases to both sides since yesterday... st8... all we ask is you attack the other party... well the 000's of kills comes from hordiing and vulching... its really much easier to kill 5v1....<S> to those who fought a fair fight...
-
I'll confirm what Snail said it definitely was quite a large battle going on between bish and knight with bases changing hands and several furballs inbetween the bases.

Ahh yes... the horde you fight against is an unfair thing happening to you, the hordes I fought against as well as flown in were just a minor conflict.

whtever the case is... happy new year fellas... going to leave this crappy thread... maybe tom when i wake up will be a better day.. but i doubt it...

Logged on for 2 hours today and was only fighting bish entire time, rooks were busy hording 135.

Just remember who made the crappy thread.
-
It's always fun to find out that you spent last night imagining you were in a fight. This thread has shown me, the fights I thought I was in didn't actually exist. The 50+ Bish who swarmed our base weren't actually there. The Knight responders didn't show up and reclaim the base. This didn't go on for the next 3 hours, base after base.
I imagined it all.
-
It's like the collision model. We all fly in our own little reality. :devil
-
What would he say if a Nit hoard and a Bish hoard met over a rook base.

Did you get to fight anyone? How many bases do you need to up your plane just out of curiousity?
Didn't fly last night, but the night before I was flying as Bish against Knits, as that was where the fight was. Seemed like a good fight to me. I must admit I didn't count the number of bases on any particular country though. As long as there was a red dar bar and a place I could up to fight them, it seemed all good to me. :aok
-
I am not quite sure what I have to do with anything, I most definetly will not be there when you get up.
I seem to recall the bish rolling the nits last night to win the war on trinity. I guess the twenty+ ponies coming to 89, 93, 254 were just my imagination. Hey, it was a bit of fun trying to defend.

This is a side effect of the illness that is country loyalty please visit the other two sides for a cure.

That's a fact all country's get horded! for a long time it seemed nits
rooks had a truce bish got the beat down.

The OP is right! But it's more map design than anything else. Certain maps put 1 country at a disadvantage. Especially that one with a large mountain range making engagement with Bish/Knit a lengthy process. We all know most want instant gratification.
-
The OP is right
In which way? That Bish and Nits did not fight for two days? That one was so much off it's approaching a downright lie.

"we" never work together either though.. no "teamwork"! that's why we're "losing"!!!! also we dont pork ords or troops!!!
which country? :uhoh :noid

Easy: The one that "never wins the war" :P

The only way a two sided war would work is if there was side balancing. At least with 3 sides there is a reasonable chance that you can get away from a gang.

I would pay to see the looks of someone in the tower... WHOLLY $%$ ...
