I have a pretty good video too of vdallas running away and leaving a squadie all by himself, it was an awesome dive.  we were all like wtf he just left the bombers alone and dove for the deck.  anyway after we stopped laughing, we kill the buffs.

I got a P51 and a P47 at a capped field the other day in my I-16.  I then went out and killed their goon.  vDallas ran home and landed 2 kills, I lawled.

Boy, I haven't seen that much action in Aces High since I went offline. Wait, even offline has more action since 1/4 of the total drones offline outnumbered those in the video.

My fav was around April of Last year (2011) when I rejoined Aces high, I took off in a Ki84 and was defending an obvious vTard Shut down the base mission from a carrier.

I shot down Dallas probably 3-4 times, including half the lemmings - at one point I nailed him and 3 others in a 1vs4 and they took the base - he then got on vox and said "nothing you could do to hold it from us".

I challenged him to a 1vs2 with his best two pilots (while I haven't flown for 2 years I figured this was a long shot) I knew I was going to lose but I wanted to see just how much I could make him work for it, and post the video.

/Never got a reply back of course

Best way to stop vDALLAS from sending PMs is to offer him a challenge to the DA, he'll stop with the PMs afterwards.  Still trying to figure out what "Pinkie" is supposed to mean, maybe one of his vTard brothers would know.  VBobO?

I think it means you won that time.  I think his (and anyone else's) attempts to antagonize an opponent via private message are stupid, and show a lack of sportsmanship.  If you get one I'd take it as a compliment just like I do when it happens to me.  Then insult them back, but in a worse way.  Take a screenshot too.

Believe it or not I have no idea how frequent these pm's are.  I wasn't even aware of them until quite a while after I joined the squad.  Those of us in the squad who are aware of it don't like it, but none of us want his job and he'll leave before he stops it.

That's part of the reason why I left. People always wanted to treat me like I just pissed on their mother because I had a "v" in front of my name... couldn't be friendly with anybody outside the Brigade and couldn't make any friends. Also because I got burned out on dive-bombing. I still get a dive-bombing mission in FSO every once in a while and I take pride in being able to hit my mark, but otherwise I refuse to load anything but bullets onto my A/C ever.

You know, you can leave too.  By staying you are tacitly condoning the behavior.  There are quite a few other squads who specialize in rolling bases, if that is what you want.  The Alchemists, for instance on Bishop.

Believe it or not I did enjoy my time in the Brigade. I had a lot of fun. Wntrgrn, Dallas, and Loki really knew what they were doing and it was fun to receive an objective from them and complete it, contributing toward a base capture. Do I find the game more enjoyable now [that I've left]? Well back then I could show up to the MA every night and clobber bases all night long and have a good time. Now I fly on average 3 nights a week and pretty much never in the MA. I train 2 nights with my squad and fly FSO on the third. More or less enjoyable? I'd say about the same, but I'm a different kind of player from what I used to be. More gratifying? 100%

He thinks he gets under peoples skin, in fact it does nothing to anyone not on a 2 week trial. I joined the vTards over 6-7 years ago and he was up to the same thing - stopped his GV raid on a base and he started with the Pms, nothings changed since then.

Not the best CO to be pm'ing and voxing half an arena everytime he gets killed, because he's quite horrible dogfighting if he can't run, then again anyone knows this if their 2 week trial ended already. the bad rep carries over to the squad, although I have nothing against anyone in the vtards except dallas, I feel bad for those in the squad:\

Each country has a horde just like the vSquad and I dont see any of you squeaking about them. Rooks/Knits take great delight in taking vbases with up to 100 planes participating yet no one steps forward to show leadership in breaking up that horde.

we dont make the community worse. We provide opportunity to those that like a mission based squad. We don't boast about taking undefended bases. The community turns it into something that its not. Just like this video. The opposing country failed to see the base flashing, so the base was taken. There was no "Way to go pat yourself on the back for taking a base!".

That is exactly what that movie was; a boast and a pat on the back.

I never bothered uploading and posting the pic, but I got a screenshot one night of a friendly horde and an unfriendly horde on radar.  They were literally in adjacent sectors, about 20 or so planes a side, and they just flew past one another to hit the undefended bases they were going after.

It made me chuckle pretty hard.  It seems base rolling in a horde is seen by many as the only way to win, and defense is considered a 'waste of time' by many.

Ah well, it is a varied and rich ecosystem that requires many types of player to create the delicate balance that is the Main Arena.

Changing a squad name doesn't change the squad, Screaming devils...Devils brigade only difference between the two squads is the squad name, same tactics and PM rants.

NO Semp it was when they tried to take a base from us he told us we Pigs didnt stand a chance in hell of holding that base. We held then took 3 of theirs with the Vtard actually trying to defend for once. They gave up on the 2nd base and went to fly agains rooks. UNless your talking about a totally different times.

Changing a squad name doesn't change the squad, Screaming devils...Devils brigade only difference between the two squads is the squad name, same tactics and PM rants.

I understand changing squad names mean nothing, but you stated u joined the vTards 6-7 years ago, how can this be?

I joined the Devils Reject when 1Dogfite was CO (1Tards to everyone else) and we flew with the screaming devils  and the FreeBirds for a while, then there was a merger of the two squads as rob stated earlier, thus the DevilsBrigade.

I remember Dogfite's first few days on AH.  He joined the DMs.

A few days later 1JBlaser was bragging about stealing him from us.   :rofl

I enjoyed mocking them along with the majority of knits for the next several months when they would ruin great fights where there was no need for scorched earth policy.  There was a good balance to the fights that were going on at that time.  You had a little bit of everything.  Furballing, bombers w/ escorts, small pushes for base takes, but no turn off the lights bs.  Admittedly, that may have something to do with why they decided to go after undefended bases for captures.

After enough country channel ribbing they went on an exodus from knitland to find out if they would rather be bish or rook.  After an initial report that rook land loved them they went bish and voiced their sadness with how they were treated in rookland.  All of this is well documented in their own posts here in the forums.

I also remember everyone on knits giving oDallasoface the same treatment on country channel.  The guy was a classic type A armchair general.

Seems they found the bish were as willing to have them as all of us knits said they would when we booted them.

Still, I'm more than happy to have them in game.   I have no problem with their tactics.  I enjoy fighting them.  Now that they have had #'s for some time, they also even go after defended bases....sometimes.

Lets go start another thread somewhere else, and this time post a video of lets say, 20-30 lancs NOE with 20-30 P47s diving down. We need to make sure that the P47s auger so they look like a bunch of n00bs. Also make sure the lancs miss their target. Cant wait for next weeks video responses!!

You people need to calm down. Its a game. Dont like our hording, unskilled pilots or undefended base take, then log off and go enjoy yourself outside with people.  :aok :aok

LoL so what Assi?   Storched earth tactics are not against the rules, and can be done without cheating.   However you still act like you have a right to complain about it ruining your fight.  I'm sorry but just because the fight ended before you were ready is something we all have to deal with.  Just ask  the Washington Generals.  I'm not comparing you to them because every single one of their 'fights' ends before they'd like it to.
You're entitled to your own opinion but don't give me any BS about how it's any more valid than mine is.

I think you're going to complain about whatever we do.

Yup, and as more and more people get tired of chasing players that avoid fights, or get tired of always trying to save a base while out numbered 5 to 1 and so move out side and do something else. HTC will have an ever decreasing number of players, kinda like FA did and it will just slowly disappear.

In a perfect world:

Furballs stays in TT.
Small fights everywhere.
No hangars shutdown.
Fun missions (Stukas, B5Ns, etc etc)

In reality:

Furballs everywhere.
Hordes everywhere.
Small fights = 1 guy.
Hangars shutdown almost every time.
Bomb and bail/auger.

I didn't say anything about you leaving, everyone else. Large squads like your control game play over a wide area. You can continue to play as you have and soon may be playing with yourselves, or you could challenge your selves and create more fun for everyone.

we do make it fun. And we make it very easy to stop one of our missions. We are never NOE when we come to take a base. We shouldnt have to change up our tactics to make the rest of the arena happy. Everyone can play as they wish. Start with the squads that run NOE missions back to back to back.

vTards = So easy a caveman can kill 'em.

Only takes 3 or 4 average sticks to rip a 30 man vTard mission to ribbons if you catch them in transit. I ran into one of their P-51 missions one time and, by myself, killed six P-51s and a goon. Then I still managed to land my scalps at the base they were trying to take. They got the base, but only because there were still 20 or so left to wipe out the hangars after I set down.

Funny thing about vTard hordes...If you beat them back on the first wave (3 or 4 average sticks), they give up and go to some other undefended area.

LOL I killed a vtard today i was in a 109g2 he was in a la7. I got on his 6 and he started turning left and right the entire time keeping himself in my gun sight. So after killing him I pm'd him and offered him so friendly advice to help him out some. He replied with why the heck am I , who the hell do I think I am to tell him what to do and why would i even try to help somebody out that wasn't on my "team". To witch I replied I was sorry and was just trying to be nice and that I thought that it was the communities job to help one another out. lol man he didnt like that at all.
So moral of this story is  man they must really be brain washed
