I love to win, and it clearly dictates my style :aok
If you love to win, you are "hard wired" to find a way to be the victor. Whether it happens or not "losing" is not given the slightest thought or validation. :aok
If you hate to lose, you are "hard wired" to find ways "not to lose" but this in no way dictates that you try to win, it only says you will find a way to "NOT LOSE"!!!! Thoughts of losing are foremost for this type :aok
IMHO

I hate losing. Can not stand it.
-
I like to enter situations where the odds are against me and see how long I can last. Not sure which category covers that :)

Tricky question.
Losing - Depends on the manner of which I lost.
Winning - Too much winning I get complacent and lazy.
I can't choose one or the other.

Hey Junky I bet you know this one:
You are alive. You won.......now live with it.
As for games...I hate to loose. But, then thats the nature of games.
-
I dont really care, all I know is that grizz thinks i awesome.

I hate to lose (at anything, not just the game), because generally its due to some stupid and rather obvious mistake I made, and I know I should have done better.
-
Passionate fights were the guy is going to fly through 15 of your country men just to engage you, must go around the rosy or scissors at least 4-5 times preferably more, without the HO coming into play, your arm starts to ache and you demand your cartoon plane maneuver in ways it was never modeled to do. After a good fight like that I always have a Smile on my face (win or lose) and that why I still play this game.
WARNING THE ABOVE MENTIONED SCENARIO IS HARD TO COME BY THESE DAYS........you are more often to encounter the first merge HO attempt from a vast number of Ill-skilled.

i know :D and i was making fun of your making fun :neener:

Don't mind losing if I had a good fight or accomplished a mission I set out on. (Take down Ord ect.)
HATE LOSING when It's my stupid mistake, collide, run out of gas, screw up the landing, hit a tree or auger on misjudging a loop dogfighting.
Doesn't everyone like winning? :headscratch:

I enjoy winning, but I don't care if I lose -- in this game.
-
I hate making mistakes
but enjoy winning
admit defeat to a better skilled pilot
study and make sure not to make the same mistake again

Anymore, I kind of have the mindset that Guppy has. After so many sorties of climbing for 15 minutes just to see 5 bad guys above me, I now just stay fairly low and see what i can do with a disadvantage. I like to win but getting shot down is alot is the price i don't mind paying as long as i learn something along the way.
What I do hate is the guys that'll be at 15 or 20K with a co-alt con they could fight, but chooses to dive from that fight to get the low easy target. DA lake guys are notorious for that.
-
DA lake is a joke.
As for the OP, I play for the fight, regardless of the outcome. But like most guys, if I'm picked, HOed (if I survive, bet your bottom dollar you're gonna die the next merge), or ran away from, I get annoyed. Sometimes I'll flip out after a string of these annoyances, but then I'll quit to cool off and play some other game.
I don't mind getting shot down, as long as it was a fun and/or fair fight. Only thing I don't get are runners, it's a combat game...If you're out of ammo or have no fuel, put it out on 200 and 99% of the time, I'll peel off. If you're damaged and I feel nice, sure, I'll let you go, best of luck on making it back to base.
