Title: FW-190g
Post by: Wofat on April 11, 2012, 11:06:50 AM: The FW-190 "G" series was very popular! Surprised none speak of it. It was not just a better "F" series. It had several variants and thousands were made. Seems it could hit hard and take hits. Ample info on Internet on this series.

Post by: Denniss on April 12, 2012, 06:52:46 PM: 1352 Fw 190G of all variants were built, it merely was a Fw 190A with reduced armament (just two wingroot 2cm guns), two drop tanks and a bomb. It was called JaBoRei (fighter-bomber with extended range). Production ended in early/mid 1944.
