How many of you drink alcohol and fly in AH, and what day of week and time of day/night do you do it?
If I had to guess, the most liquored up pilots are up on Saturday nights at around 2 am EST.
I just want to optimize my chances of easy kills!
For the record, I'll fly after having one beer max, and even then I can tell my abilities to think in four dimensions have dropped considerably.

Never. :old:
-
Too much... :uhoh
-
Always drinking, always flying, always dying.
-
I sometimes treat AH like a public bar, have a few drinks and talk BS for a few hours, it can be fun.
-
Dam I had to goto AA due to this Game lol :devil :devil :devil :devil :devil
-
Never. :aok
I think of my liver and brain cells often, and respect same. :old:
-
Often. I only feel ive had to much when i think someones in my sights, pull the trigger, and realise i was looking at my 6 :(
-
makes me sick when I drink and fly. . . I actually get physically ill. Smoking inidan tobacco and flying however. . .

FSO

Got drunk with google one night, decided to do a 262 run...... he plowed into a tree taking off.......the end, while I ho'd 3 planes and survived without a ding, but to run to get another beer i plowed into a mountain side.
I do drink and fly, somehow it relaxes my nerves and lets me do what I do best and simply fly.
Sometimes you do well other times you plow into trees here are some fine examples:
The Bad: Lost 3 262s one night in 5 minutes or bailed out of a B-29 while trying to calibrate
The Good: landed 9 in FSO or 14 in a scenario plastured, or catch the entire muppets squad taking off in 262s while drunkingly chasing Angus's 262 back to ack.
Beer.....It's the creator and answer to all problems.

It's amazing I do as well as I do because I'm always drinking when I'm flying. I just have to remember to stay away from the BBs afterwards.
-
I have stopped consuming said intoxicated beverages after obtaining a set of G35 7.1 headphones :old:
When a exploision occurs the aformention noise whilst under the influence makes jump in a unsightly manner. :old:
Alcohol intake blurs my boundaries between fact and fiction :old:
Saying "Rgr" to my mrs whilst accepting said beverage is a sign of excess as well :old:
-
when i do i text in the middle of a furball...when i drink im constantly on my phone searching for a late night bootycall...its very counter productive for me as far as the game goes that is
and i always say cc instead of k in the texts hahaha
-
 its been known to happen...why?
what did I say/ do
:noid

Never!!
:uhoh
:bolt:

The one time a played this game really drunk, I decided to drive a GV, which I'd never ever done before. Drove a FP into a hedge, couldn't find reverse, so I left it there. d
There's some guy who flies Saturday night who's just toasted to the gills. He rants on Ch1. By the end of the night he's virtually incoherent. Definitely adds flavor.

Something about the bottle and throttle and the number "8" so I make sure to keep alcohol at least 8 feet from the throttle.
-
If it's am EST Im not drinking.... However if it's after 8pm... Almost always have beer in me at night.
-
Saying "Oh... Rgr" to my mrs whilst having sex is a sign of excess as well
:O
:D

Oh, this is like a poll or questionnaire. I thought someone wanted tips and suggestions.
You guys need to clarify your subjects better.

Ha neither. Depends I like a newcastle or bass for everyday drinking sometimes warsteiner dunkel or something darker.
A lot of vodka as well.

A former cropduster pilot told me that if you can make it the 8 feet from the bottle to the airplane you are ok to dust crops.

Last time I drank and flew, I put 3 sets of Ar 234's into the trees just off the runway, at the same field spawning the same direction, and there was a drop at the end of the runway, not a hill. The fun bit, I had COMPLETELY forgotten why I was trying to take off in them in the first place. :D
-
I never drink alcohol. but I do like to have a few beers while flying, unless of course I am in the mood for some mixed drinks :D.

Semp, I didn't take you for drinker!
Maybe we should have one event where we all get hammered and fly around. We'd need a USB breathalizer to determine legal drunkenosity.
Perhaps this is a more popular idea than my suggestion that on Xmas day we fly around for one hour not shooting at each and wishing each other peace on Earth!

Only at night, Jim Beam with Miller.

Probably 90% of the time when I fly, prefer good Canadian whiskey, on the rocks. Or wine. Or beer. :D
The later it is on Friday or Saturday night, the worse I am (starting at mediocre and working down from there, not too gooooood), and the most likely that I will lose multiple perk planes in rapid succession. :uhoh
 ya bunch of drunk bastages!

only way to be

You must have freakishly long arms. I think it's inches not feet bottle to throttle, else it falls off the desk. It's about safety damnit.

Anyone wanna start a squad called "The Bar".....I'm in.

Just call it "Aces High Anonymous"

Pfft. My squad screws up their directions drunk, sober, doesn't much matter. At some point during FSO every direction becomes "east".

My choice in flavors depending on what I am doing :)

I nearly always do but never before 9 pm Uk time. I don't drink heavily these days and it doesn't affect me much.... But if I do I tend to fall asleep and have been known to do so in the past, once near the end of a scenario. :o
-
Wait...You spike your beer? :huh

What I mean is that I wash down a shot of Beam with Miller. :)

Don't know how to break this to you. I am the worst pilot in my squadron. Unfortunately I fly so bad that when I drink I can only get better.

You have one thing most players don't - access to some extremely good sticks in the game to learn from, your learning curve is cut quite a bit narrow from it.
All you gotta do is ask for some help, and it will be thrown at ya =)
speaking which my DA is getting so bad I lost 5 rounds in a random picked aircraft, time to start getting whipped like a redheaded step child and learn the basics again.
Some things I learned: Winning every DA match does nothing to improve SA/Main arena - you have to do a balancing act between the two - you want to learn the ropes of an aircraft and manage to stay alive.
DA however does teach you to learn when to be aggressive or not, overly aggressive gets you killed, simply work on SA and gunnery is my motto for now.
I preached before and will preach again - fly 2 aircraft for an entire tour, then rotate them out - try to learn everything you can on each aircraft with a sub (for example few tours ago I did the C.205 and P-38J)
Different aircraft have their own attributes, learning each one down to the core improves your chances to survive. Some reason switching out every tour simply keeps my game up, but that's Just me - instead of being stellar in one aircraft, I rather be mediocre in everything.

Seeing as I am legal these days, I either mix it or just drink... this -
