Title: facebook drama? or for real
Post by: homersipes on August 11, 2012, 12:49:08 PM
My wifes friend posted something on facebook about RFID chips having to be implanted in everyone on march 23 2013 , so I did some looking and cant find anything.  Just curious if anyone knows the truth to this. :headscratch:

It's true.  I have my RFID chip appointment scheduled in November.  If you get it done before the end of the year they give you a 20% discount.

You, your wife and your wife's friend (and probably all the other nut jobs you know) are all idiots....  Find a better, more intelligent group of people to kick it with..  Preferably ones who don't believe everything they see on the interwebs..
If there was a "like" button, I'm sure this post (mine, not yours) would get 10,000 likes..

A guy I know already has his.  He wasn't allowed to talk about it but since it's on facebook now, he'll brag on it after a beer or two.

Don't waste your money.  I was able to easily implant my own at minimal costs.  WalMart has a do it yourself kit that is only $29.99, including the chip.  I was able to do mine just standing in front of the mirror in about 5 minutes.  It was the second one I did actually.  I implanted the one for my wife first just to make sure I knew what I was doing.  It was kind of a fun evening for us.  We held hands, walked out of the house under the stars and looked up, knowing that we were now safely tracked by satellite.  I know this will be invaluable information that our government will use to enhance our lives.

Excellent idea. I am really glad I read this thread. It's been very helpful.

I probably won't get mine from Walmart tho.  I have heard that some of the chips are defective because they weren't reprogrammed properly when they left Walmart's supplier's factory. Because the chips are made in China (like all the rest of Walmart's crap) you are marked a Chinese citizen.  The government sends you your instructions for proper behavior in Chinese and international travel is a real pain.

There is a deadline to get your RFID chip implanted. You mist do it or pay a fine.

Personally I can't wait to get mine, but not from Walmart

Ask cousin Eddy for tips on coping with this.

Have you had the metal plate in your head replaced with a piece of government plastic too?

I just hope they use the US Postal Service instead of the DMV as the agency responsible for getting people tagged.  Wait times at my local post office is way shorter than the line for drivers licenses.

I did hear, through a site on TOR, that the rich will be able to pay a tax, or "fee", to not participate in the program.  It's hidden in that huge health care bill that nobody has read because contributors to certain politicians insisted on it.

I have an iRFID on order from the apple store, its a bit more expensive but you get a free iPhone app which tells you where you are at any time. its also linked in to google earth and flikr so you can see photos of what it looks like where you are. how cool is that

You drone.  Total cool-aid drinker.  iRFID is a waste of money.  The regular RFID is all about freedom but yours turns that upside down just so it can have a piece of fruit on the label.

Early adopters will just have to accept that they'll need an upgrade, but no big deal since the chip means freedom and free health care and the govt will take care of tracking it and everything so no need to do anything except occasionally provide access to the bank account linked to the national registry by the chip for balance adjustments related to the free government provided and tracked care.

That's so much better than pushing old people in wheelchairs off of cliffs, like that tv ad we saw last week.

Years ago, I volunteered to be a test subject for RFIDs.  I needed the money & they were offering $500 to join the program.  Although my chip is obsolete by today's standards, it still seems to be working just fine.  The people I'm around on a daily basis have gotten used to the 3" antenna.

My chip was installed as a very early test bed while undergoing a Mastoidectomy at an
Army Hospital in Germany (Landstuhl) in 1988.
Mine has a built in adaptor for Cell Phone, Ipod, Gamepad, DVD/Blueray Player and much more.
I can use mine to tune in TV and Radio Stations that i normally would not get.
It also acted as a Military Radio Signal booster when I was out in the field :aok
I also have the "Google" stuff for location.
If I can get a Monitor installed, I could play AH, while walking down the road.
I recommend getting the "Intellitracker 9000" Model.
It seems to be the top of the line model out there right now.
                                                                                                                                 Oz

I bought the deluxe Wal-Mart version for 49.99 since it has the built in 32 Gig of memory.  I keep my favorite recipes as well as my stick settings on it for when I'm traveling.  So far the only problem with it is the elevator doors sometime open while between floors, but I can live with that.

although it is a long way off so we probably wont see it happen.....so when it does happen, the people will be even more so accepting of it....

they can put one in my dead body. :aok

You guys just don't know how lucky you are and how good you have it in the US!

In Belgium, the treehuggers were screaming about the fact that the chips were emitting radiowaves from inside the body, that we would slowly cook from the inside yada yada yada.

So the government finally caved in and the only chips that we can have implanted are WIRED!

I can't tell you how much riding my bike has become a complete PITA with this USB cable trailing behind  :furious

Unbelievable how far you Americans have fallen behind. March 2013? It's been compulsory for all us EU citizens since 2005. I'm already on my third upgrade and I have to say it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. Every morning I leap out of bed and sing the Euro anthem in three languages and thank our glorious leaders for the munificence. Not only that I can sing the Chinese national anthem in fluent Mandarin. That's not all I'm posting this using USB connection completely hands free, magic :aok The only slight problem is that there is a delay in posting as it has to go through central processing in Brussels for vetting in case of any errors. So if there's a mystery gap in a line you'll know I may have accidentally said something critical of the EU. In my opinion ---- -- ------- --------. --- **** EU ---- ----- --------. But I don't want to be too critical.

I can't wait for the next upgrade, Android compatible. Just think of all the apps I can download directly to my brain.

Well must go, my RFID has just reminded me that it's to watch the latest Euronews bulletin. Our leader Herman Van Rompuy wishes to address us! What a handsome charasmatic fellow he is. :salute

Seriously you Americans need get your act together. It's a brave new world!

You have enough money to pay the fines for staying chip free? Dude, are you a multi-millionaire?

It's not a fine its a tax.

Why do you want a chip implanted in you?  I'm curious why you seem in favor.  I'm not looking to debate you, just curious of your participation.  Thanks.
Because my chip has vastly enhanced my life, I would gladly have an open discussion with you regarding this topic.

I was hesitant at first because I thought that it seemed invasive. However now I can see the true benefits. I feel comfortable knowing where all of my loved ones are at all times. It is like having everyone constantly updating their location on Facebook, but in real time.

Additionally, you get manufacturer discounts on several products when you register your chip with that company. Sure, they ask to track you and collect consumer behavior information, but in the end that will only improve their products!

Sure, it itches every now and then, but I get updates on my health! If you upgrade the retina display, you can scan items and know the health benefits of what you are eating!

I had mine unlocked, so I could download mods from the internet. Some great app recommendations:
Teleprompter to go - if you do a lot of public speaking
Underwearvision2.0 - DO NOT DOWNLOAD 1.0, it does not allow filtering preferences!!!
TranslateNow
GoogleGoggles
Pandora
ZombieRun (interesting game, kinda scary if you are not prepared for it)

With so many benefits, why are you against it?

Anyway you don't really need a chip implanted. Have you got a Smartphone? It's the same thing. Mine knows exactly where I am at all times and thus so does every intelligence agency, computer hacker multinational corporation on the planet and maybe beyond. :noid

thats just for now...

I believe that at some point Technology will expand human life....in the hundreds of years...at that point they will demand a chip inserted...or you will not receive the medical.

Mine is quite small... I think you got ripped off. Unless it's one of THOSE chips. Then I feel bad for you.

How can you neglect yourself and family from these chips? They are even working on chips that will transmit nano ifs into your blood and search for cancer and kill it. Living to be less than 100 will be criminal.
