I feel that when two enemy GV's coming in contact, that a collision should ac-cur. This would prevent from have one gv inside of the other. I know that HT tried to fix the problem of a jeep killing a tank by driving inside, however some have found an exploit that allows this to still happen.
The light GV that hit a tank should have damage.
Any comments or suggestion would be welcome.

Due to lag they can't make collisions work in GVs. You could be 100 feet away from a GV on your front end and the other GV would see you slamming into him. As for the "driving a jeep into...." film it, and report it. I believe HTC has deemed it on a par with reporting the locations of CV to the enemy. Poor game play, and it could get you muted or banned.

I thought the jeep issue was fixed quite a while back :headscratch:.

I agree, I think you should be able to run over and flatten the jeep that just took out your m18 turret with his M2, and run over the pilot popping away with his .45, just leave a little red splotch on the grass with tread marks.

:headscratch: what is an ac-cur? some sort of mixed hybrid air conditioning system?
gv collision could be done and despite what Fugitive thinks, the lag isn't bad enough to detect a collision from 100ft away, vehicles aren't travelling at 300mph. modelling collision damage would be a big undertaking considering what exists now.

I think the fixed the bug. I did this some months ago and shot the crap out of the inside of a sherman. He killed me quickly.

Fugi was just repeating what HiTech had said a few years ago when this topic popped up then.

They tried to fix it but their fix didn't work. :devil

You're confusing the fix for the jeep and the reason why collisions aren't enabled for ground vehicles. Please try and pay closer attention.

Maybe you should pay closer attention. They were clearly talking about a jeep going inside a tank and killing it as evidenced in the quote below. It's even bolded so you can see it.

Maybe if you spent less time trying to troll and actually reading posts you would have realized that.

Chaser, I can see your contribution to this discussion is quite childish.
IMO, if the first word in your reply's wasn't ' Maybe', perhaps you would be taken a little more seriously.

heavy tank runs into lighter one, and it should get a kill?

They should suffer appropriate damage, maybe 1 tank should roll over the other in some instances. HOwever it happened in RL I guess. Or we could just force them to shoot each other to get a kill and leave the lack of collision model as it is.

makes more sense to me too :)

It only became clear with the realization that this debate is analogous to comparing leprechauns to unicorns.
Also, the GV vs Airplane collision model is even worse.

Neither a leprechaun nor a unicorn could have helped George Zipp over Macho Grande. :old:

Happened to me yesterday. No I don't have a film, but buddy in the jeep managed to kill my Panther with his 50 cal.
