Curious, how come there aren't any advertisements for AH? I know there were, but what happened to them all? You can't even find AH without typing in the exact words on the homepage on Google. Not even SimHQ has AH listed on their website.
History Channel's commercial brought me here, but that was at least 5 years ago. I haven't seen any commercials for AH recently.

Perhaps you should Make an AH sandwich board to wear and run around your town spreading the word then :D

I think a half page ad in Fine Scale Modeler (http://www.finescale.com/) would be a great place as well. While I don't have the time to build models much any more I still read about them when I can.

My friend has often remarked that HTC should have one of those tricked-out Winnebagos with several high-end networked rigs to drive around the country. Airshows, military vehicle expos, even state fairs would all be great venues. Five bucks gets you 30 minutes with an experienced trainer looking over your shoulder (if you ask).

If I think back top my first 30 mins of MA time in AH2 , and had to pay 5 bucks for that , I would be feeling pretty ripped off . And that was with several weeks flying in the free 8 man rooms beforehand .

They were heavy on HII last month.
-
Maybe they should have one of those banner towing planes fly around the arenas lol

I know I have seen some Adverts in Game Informer for the "World of Tanks" or whatever it is called (im not much of a GV player) I thought to myself that would be a good place for AH to advertise. If at all possible it would make for a great article if they could get them to write one up about it.

Hey Dale, give my car a new paint job? Free accounts for running the painted advertisements for 2 years? Think about it. Remember car wraps?

The most effective Ad AH could do would be behavioral banner ads. These are online banner ads that target people instead of being restricted to one website. So anyone that visits aviation, history or war websites would be targeted.
This way the Aces High ads would appear anywhere from Pandora to your favorite news website (only if you have an interest in WWII aviation).

Marketing is a very big part to any companies growth, sad HTC has little of it.

HiTech Creations was founded with a simple philosophy by Dale "HiTech" Addink in 1999. It's not to create a large corporation, a vast gaming network, or a line of online games. It's just to create one game, but one that is better than any other like it. Contrary to most companies, our goal is to keep the company small. We know that with a singular focus and an experienced cohesive team that enjoys its work, the production, service, support, and overall level of satisfaction will be unmatched.

That has nothing to do with my point. But ty
(edit) I belive they still like money and new players.I never said anything about the size of the company.
-
My bad. From your sentence, it looked to me that you were concerned about the company and that they have little growth. I guess you were talking about the growth of the player base and not the size of the company...I'll try to hear what you mean instead of hear what you say. ;)
:salute

Np dot ,a company's growth is messurd in many way's,profit ,player base (in this case) amongst others. :salute

Instead of pimp my ride, Wrap my ride. I love this game and would be proud to advertise it as I drive throughout the country and not just locally here in Pensacola, Florida. Think of magnetic signs as well. It would be cool to drive in your favorite a/c paint scheme with AHII advertised in strategic locations on the vehicle.

We still advertise on TV. Sometimes on the Military channel some times on the Military history channel.

We have also done test runs on these type of adds in the past months.

This might be a winner of an idea. Imgaine a 3-month airshow tour. I'd show up and meet people. That could be fun, build the crew on the spot.

The pro is the same thing we're thining, they're right in the thick of potential new customers at these "festivals", the con though is that affordibly/reasonabley a "HTC team" can maybe attend a dozen (at best) of these types of events a year, realisticly probabley only 6 (there are many expences and often vendor fees, even with an all volunteer staff).
Maybe HTCs can team up with some of the many traveling simulator demo teams out there already, still a cost but maybe more practical. The ones I'm seeing out there are full-blown simulators on a trailer, and those cant be cheap to run/make/own. I don't think HTCs budget is big enough to fund and make such a similar and large initial investment, although maybe they can be succesful with a trailer big enough for 4 computer terminals. On the other hand, these teams/companies out there with these serious mobile flight sumulators might be interested enough to "host" virtual WWII dogfights on their simulators at these historic military air shows, and may be in a similar boat - a limited budget.
