LOL I upped a set of buffs and pointed them towards the enemies strats to kill time while I posted this pic, and I got an AFK kill when a fighter collided with me.

CHEERS!

An update… The same player came back & shot down my buffs while I was laughing about him colliding with me. Ahhh, Karma.

Where's the onions?

I must admit, they would have been better with some fresh onions. But in the spirit of having a day off… I just could not bring myself to put forward the effort that it would have taken to dice them. I did pour the beer into a Mason jar instead of drinking it right out of the bottle. But that is where I drew the line.

Too much of that will result in a heart attack. Maybe one dog, then a side-salad with some walking shoes next to it.  :bolt:

Not wanting to chop onions?  That's a crying shame.  :D :cry Onions don't just make it better, they make it complete.  Red onions preferably.

But, if I would have gone through the trouble to chop the onions, then I would not feel right about eating them without adding mustard. And they would, at that point, require good mustard. Not the cheap stuff in my fridge… That means a trip to the store. Where would it have ended? For crying out loud Pyro, do you want me to have time to play the game or not?

In retrospect, If I had the ability to change the title of this thread, It would read, “Aces High… With all the trimmings (except onions).”

Alas, it comes down to the inevitable debate of mustard on a chili dog.

I'm glad you enjoyed your day Goaly!  Looks great.

I would pass an the mustard, but would have added the onions.

All this talk of onions on a chili dog and only one mention of jalapeño. Pyro, I am disappointed, you live in Texas and no mention jalapeño. The shame, the horror.

For our friends across the pond. Take on hot dog in bun, smother with your favorite chili, top with a fine cheddar and some pepperjack, diced onions and the coupe de grace is the jalapeños.

Mustard on a chili dog is an abomination.

when I had just gotten married,  I would ask my ex-wife to get me a hotdog with mustard on the left and ketchup on the right at the movie theater.  if she got it wrong which was always she would go get me another one.  once she figured out that I was just turning the hotdogs around she punched me so hard that she nearly knocked a tooth out.  we are divorced now but we still laugh about that and yes that tooth is now missing :).

now what really annoys me is when I get a chili dog and they ask me if I want cheese.  I always repeat that I want a chili dog but they always seem to not understand what a chili dog is.  same as when I ask for a hamburger and they ask if I want cheese, I always say no, that is a cheeseburger, I want a hamburger, but they never seem to know the difference.

Yup, that's shredded cheese on top...preferably Colby or Texas "Rat Trap". Mild Cheddar will do in a pinch.

Now the chili...fist fights, divorces, even wars have been faught over the correct HOT DOG chili. IMHO the best is a soupier version of traditional Chili Con Carne. East coast (hot dog) chili tends to be mild...originating with Greek diners. Western chili if more Tex-Mex style...the kind you'd find on a killer enchilada. The garbage you find in a can, containing {God Forbid} beans is NEVER to be used...unless nuclear holocaust is immenent.  :x

I would have finished the
Dog #1 : Red of Maui Onion
Dog #2 : chopped jalepeno
Dog #3 : crisp chopped bacon
Dog #4 : all of the above  :aok

I started eating at the Varsity when curb boys jumped on your bumper to ride to you parking spot to take your order.  The Yellow Jacket had a better chilidog back then but the Varsity was pretty tasty.  It was until that gal started running the place and replaced the frying lard with canola.

Best chilidog in SE is Nuway in Macon, Ga the home of James Brown.
