a well-respected member of the community was trying to offend everyone today.
i took one comment, got muted. Anyone can tell who was him and what i said.
it has been enough.
You can delete this thread, i know its inappropiate, just wanted to let everyone know why im leaving.
Maybe it isnt the best way to keep the players pay for you.

Just step back and take a breather, Debrody. Don't let people being jerk0ffs get you riled up, even if you got a mute out of it. I had the same thing happen to me a couple years ago, I had a couple of guys who loved to ankle hump me and intentionally try to bait me on 200 into a pizzing contest, I finally responded back to one of them with the exact same words he had just said to me about 2 minutes earlier, and I got a 1 hour mute for it.
Everyone knows there are a few sorry mods in this game who live behind their anonymity, and what goes for one person doesn't always apply to others. Report it to HTC. Hopefully they'll look into it and take the appropriate action.

Judging by SQUAT's recent thread and Skuzzy's explanation of how the in game muting works, I am pretty sure that Debrody was either the victim of the automatic profanity mute OR the mass .report function (5 .reports, regardless of their validity, will get you muted)
The whole 'mods abusing their powers' thing seems to get blown way out of proportion

Well I've been auto muted for typing three different sentences in a row that all had one word ending with "sh" and the next word either starting with "it" or actually being the word "it". I was probably being rude about Italy at the time so may have deserved it for different reasons than the auto mute.

Sure. I see s lone spit low, i burn E, trying to scissor with him, he runs to ack. Okay, i deack the base and kill the spit. Then im the one being angry and butthurt.
Next time i up, i see a lone spit co-alt. Im headed towards him, he tryes to run to ack, but when he realizes that he cant, he just bails. I say "lolz" and NOTHING else, then im the one being butthurt, the one who never can take when "others dont play the way i want them to". For the gods sake, i was in a 190D, at 2k again, any more advantage i can give you? And yea i was being as much dumb, i even expect people to actually try to fight in an air combat game?
Okay, np. Later not less than 6 people were chasing me, i told them on 200 that im not gonna turn back as long as they want it to be a 6v1. Then im the "WHAAAAA", im the one who never can take when others dont fly the way i want them to. Hmm, okay, i go, land. Then i get "lol and he ran away", i cant take when others dont play the way as i want them to, how poor my english is, what ever.
I got a bit pissed, logged for 20 mins.
When i came back, IV arguing with Coronado that he cant take the way how others are playing etc etc. Then i said, squelch "studmuffinvet". Yes, it was inappropiate.
Got a warning from the mod, but guessing, i have deserved that.
The red fog blinded me as i had enough from that it wasnt me bragging for like a hour yet i get warned. Typed out on 200 "oh dear mod" and nothing else, instant mutage.
Then you come here with what a good person i am? Im not, in fact, im horrible, but i have to puke from your BS.
Flame me.
And yes im the one bragging about "butthurt 262s" when im btarding in a tempest.

so debrody ou went from blaming somebody else for your mute to finally bringing up the fact that you got muted due to your own fault. now you rant about quitting but before you go get his clear.
mods will mute you if you question or talk back to them in every instance.

Nope I'll say again you are a good Person Debrody...and I really do believe that...You just let THE Game ...."game" ya too much and you cannot distinguish when people are havin fun just foolin around with ya or being serious.
I will say however you if a mod warned ya, and ya got muted you have no one to blame but yourself sir.
I may joke with ya Debrody but you will never see me cuss, or call you out of your name.

Dolby sir If ya read what Debrody wrote you can see he was warned by Mod. Then badmouthed mod and got muted. Had nothing to do with me.
And I recall the incident you talking about Dolby....I like how I get the blame for you getting muted by others reporting you. So since they reported you they all must have been my friends right? I had already explained to you I did nothing and had no issues with you at all at that time. Then all of a sudden you went off on me, and here we are what a yr later and you still blaming me?

Personally I'm here to play the game. Of course I think the game is a bunch of guys and gals getting together to fight one another using WWII like game pieces to battle it out win fights, capture territory, and win the war.
No were in there does the "mouth off" crap that players like IV, who, warbeast and others think the game needs. Why players are allowed those types of antics to alienate the rest of the player base I don't know. I would think it does more to drive players away than it does to retain them. If players are continually reported time and time again wouldn't you think someone would pick up on a pattern? How many times do players have to be reported before they are banded?
I've done my share of reporting players, well maybe not my share because I really hate doing it, but it doesn't seem to do much of anything. I know where I worked we dealt directly with the public and if a customer called to complain about "how" we dealt with them we didn't get many warnings. Well the customers are complaining here.

Does that make you better than anyone else?...I dont see your name mentioned in your "Mouth off" quotes above. Should we all be inclined to report you? Because we dont wanna hear you go on and on? Or your alienating people simply because you don't agree with thier type of gameplay?
While I appreciate you trying to put me in same cat as Warbeast, Who, and fail at it by the way you would have to put yourself in as well by your own standards.
You can't lecture to people the the very thing you do and pretend you somehow above it or not doing it yourself.

Truth of the matter is, Debrody shouldn't have been muted..abrasive?? yes! I should have been the one that got muted as i was calling Irv everything but a caucasian American.As Irv. stated before, we've come to a common ground and I'm happy about it.And as far as Irv. "cussing" at people, can't say I've ever seen it..period.I enjoy a good spar, and he's an excellent candidate.Do i go too far at times??Hell yeah! Hopefully, with new "understanding", I'll get better.

No what makes me "Immune or better than everyone who types more" is that I discuss a concept, I don't attack players. The closest I come to attacking players is when I comment "Nice HO dweeb" which again is a single line and means nothing more than "Learn to fight". You and your ilk on the other hand continually dig at and prod players until they can no longer take it and explode. Just look at the wonderful and thought inspiring threads Warbeast is participating in. :rolleyes:

Your return line will be something along the lines of "here he goes again, nobody will play my way!", but it has nothing to do with playing my way. It has to do with people getting boarded and leaving the game faster than new players coming in.

Difference there is no working out diffrences on this subject with you. You been going on and on for the last 5 yrs and longer.
I didn't think you would actually type that you thought you were better than other players but hey ya did. Simply putting a fancy label ie opinion, cough, concept does not mask or make better what you do on 20och any better.
If I had to SIT at a spawn and wait for GV's I'd never get kills. SO a big fail there...err assumption on your part. I go find my kills more fun and more of a challenge.
Fugitive sir you need only learn that YOUR opinion is not the only opinion of all of AH it comes regarding missions/hoards. Just as I know mine is not the only way too. Problem is assumptions on your part about gameplay, and the fact that you been on this stump about how horrible AH has become how is worse etc etc for well over 5 yrs I been around.
Squads come and go, been that way for a long time. Does not mean its all because they got board of doing the same thing, no matter now much youd like that to be the case.

Ok, here is what happened.
The loss of text privs occurred over the course of several days. It only takes 5 reports, over a week to get text or VOX privileges suspended.
When you ask players to report you, why would you be surprised if one or two will do it? Then you ask your squad to mass report another player. This was cause enough for you, and the members of your squad who took part in that, to lose your privileges.
All this had only added 4 reports to your record. The final report, which triggered the loss of text privileges, was when you made derogatory remark to another player. Perfectly reasonable reason for a report.
Now, the two reports, which you asked players to make, were not valid. They were removed, which would have opened your text privilege back up had you not called for a mass report of another player.

This is kind of you, thank you, but i really lost the interest to play with the large majority of the MA population. My account is deleted as my little mind needs some time to settle down and find motivation to play again.
My problem is: true, im a hater kind kind of man, but it isnt me having a kill club and trying belittle and annoy all the people i get a proxy on, it isnt me to constantly bragging about everyone being butthurt, it isnt me trying to troll people that "me>you" (even though he appears to be finally muted, thanks God). Theese kind of people are very tiring after a while as they continue to stalk people every day.
Again, i might not be much better, and possibly deserved a mutage too.

It looks like i'm in the minority as one of the players which use 200 to say hello and chat to people flying for different countries. :angel: 200 is tame compared to the old ch1 anyway. :D

Every one needs to remember this fact. It's a GAME! Sure players in the last 7 years or so have tilted the gameplay somewhat, but it's still a game.
There are adults (so called) that act like children especially on the internet where it is easier and they suffer no real consequences.
Acting like an idiot in real life outside the game pays greater penalties. Acting like an idiot in here behind a monitor is mostly worry free.
Debrody, shake it off, consider the source and remember that it is just an internet game.

I think if a player in game was verbally abusing another player in game by calling them a
"Pedophile", the individual doing this abusive name calling truly deserves to be penalized/punished/
Muted and or banned!!! Until they post a public apology and offer up a 1,000 word essay to the AH community on "proper and good sportsmanship game etiquette in Aces High" !
They should not be allowed back in to play until they offer a sincere apology and write said essay and

I'm not defending Debrody in anyway but the other player in question is one the most rude and disruptive players currently in Aces High. His actions have continued to contort the game into a 'cesspool' of immaturity and vile behavior. Worse yet, I feel this player is emboldened by the fact he was rewarded for his actions by a special soap box just for him called the 'Kill Club' forum, instead of being justly punished for the behavior he was warned about previously by Skuzzy.
His actions on the forums make him look like a boy scout compared to his actions in the game as well. It isn't about trolling, it goes far beyond that.
With very few exceptions, I would gladly take any member of the Aces High community to dinner on my dime than throw this individual a napkin if he was bleeding to death.

its amazing to me that more people arent muted. 2 or 3 guys in this thread go out of their way to deliberately provoke people into outbursts which may get a mute. its absolutely transparent and then they play coy and innocent knowing full well exactly what they were doing. i.e taunt salute....dont know how anyone could consider any of them one of the most respected in the game.

I got muted before twice for 1 hour, without warning and nothing deserving more than 10 minutes at the most.
I came to the conclusion that some mods are simply uneducated fruits and a little weak on english comprehension and want to throw their weight around. I would not blame skuzzy. Just take an hour off and let it be. Can't teach stupid. ;)

Until then we will just have to keep dealing with this strutting peacock atmosphere whenever a new player graduates to having an ounce of ability and thinks they now deserve to judge everyone else. Predictable schoolyard mentality.
Who remembers Grizz getting 100 kills in a 262? Obviously it is acceptable and applauded by the same people who instantly judge anyone else who flies intelligently. Fester also, renowned for flying intelligently for a tour until his first death and then quitting till the next tour. These are two members of a squad who are held in the highest regard by their squadmates. Yet when another person is witnessed to be flying in the same way they are abused.
None of the people spouting this rubbish are improving gameplay one bit. They are just stuck right up inside themselves, sniffing the air, then proclaiming that everyone else should come and have a good sniff too because it smells so wonderful in here. It is quite amusing to watch.

Here's the difference...they could crush 99% of the community 1 v 1. That's the difference. They are respected because they would fight in any circumstance and win. If they choose to fly a certain way for scoring, it was fine because they were both able to fly any way they chose and win. I'm surprised that you can say it's ok to fly timid if you're my squadmate but anyone else is just doing it because they are terrible. Some of the people who get abused for this have been playing for decades. Who are we to decide that they do it through lack of ability or effort to learn.
Perhaps Fester flies like that because he enjoys it. So why the hell should JoeBloggs not be allowed to enjoy it also?
For every one player who deserves to be called out this growing trend and example to new players forces another five to be called out unjustly by ignorant loud mouths who think they are god's gift to ACM just because they did a rolling scissor.
If you want to improve the game, keep as many subscribers as possible here so that firstly HTC have enough funding to run and improve the game and secondly to keep the arena diverse and interesting to fly in. I can't imagine anything worse than an entire arena populated by people who fly like me.

Just FYI, if you see Muppets bashing FFin, its not just because the way he flies, he has bashed Muppets on 200, range, PM's for years... just sayin, the analogy is off base as far as why we don't like him.. his attacks on us are never about the game, they are always personal and about RL... which I could care less about, but to hear you defending him from us and sayin he's a good guy... well we know better. :aok
