Title: assists
Post by: molybdenum on September 30, 2013, 08:38:29 PM
How much damage do you have to do to an enemy plane that later gets shot down in order to get credited with an assist? Just curious....

Guess what, Shifty. We oopsed this FSO and though we asked for P-47s we forgot to change axis to allies. Looks like we'll be the 56th's opposition.  :huh

Erg. I feel like VF-17 has been captured and conscripted for the Axis, what with our current FSO trend.  :headscratch:

You don't have to damage it, you just need to hit it.

We'll return the favor and fly Japanese when Corsairs are in the lineup.  :aok

Nice name...friction reducer, anti-wear additive and needs 500,000lbs/sqj to remove from metal.  Plates out because it has an affinity for metals but doesn't stack so tolerances aren't affected.

You don't have to damage it, you just need to hit it.

I know this is not true. Several times I have seen an impact on a plane I am shooting and then seen someone else finish it and not get an assist.

Same here, ive been in enough furballs and have never seen other countrymens hit sprites or the enemies either come to think of it, just tracers.
