More US states need to follow Texas' example and start teaching Creationism in schools

Most of this country is going to hell otherwise.

I think Texas should be the one following the example if you know what I'm saying. (http://i.imgur.com/uNY8pZq.gif)

Obviously a sarcastic shot at the being the number 1 state for capital punishment.  Recently a Mexican national executed for killing a policeman.  I was on a jury in Dallas recently for an aggravated murder, just so you know we gave him 25 years as a participant and not the actual triggerman.

Early 1851 Navy, with squared trigger guard. Valuable collector's piece.

I have two different models of the 1851, Navy and civilian types. Both made by Pietta. Pietta has significantly stepped up their quality control. Both function flawlessly, with perfect timing and tight lock-up.

Southern oregon and northern california have wanted independent statehood for a long time.  You may find many similarities with them and texas.  Of course this breed is fading into the sunset, being overrun by californians and yuppies.  If you get to the east side of the state or oregon the ranch land goes as far as the eye can see.  Shotguns racked in the back window of the truck is NORMAL.  :old:  :lol

Here is another tough one, just south of Dallas is a city called Waxahachie.

I was pronouncing it like 'wax (as in candle wax)-uh-hatchy

The sweet Texan secretary up front gave me a giggle and smile "No Mr. xx, around here we say wahx-eh-hatchy"  (wa as in was)

Texas is a great state :aok

I was born in ElPaso, ft Bliss military hospital, 1969 while the old man was stationed down there during Vietnam....

he got out on a hardship case, due to his 3 kids mother leaving them at a neighbors house....we came back up here to NH

I went back to Texas in my Dodge Challenger, got stopped by a state trooper for doing 101 on the highway...he let me go no ticket.....he was pissed at me but I was honest and he was just a good man.

I would like to go back again and maybe move there, I seriously hate the damn cold up here.

Talk of Texas reminds me of a great line said to me by a German friend when I was visiting Bavaria once on business.

I said that I had never visited Germany before.

He said, "You still haven't.  Bavaria in Germany is like Texas is in the US."
