Love fighting Doras. They either maneuver and die, or run and become a nonfactor.

Why should someone be expected to fight your way?
All this whining about turning is pretty funny.

you will never learn if you don't try :uhoh
but I guess skyrr don't need to learn considering he was the best pilot ever in Fighter Ace.

I duelled Skyrr, his flying style was... interesting.

the keyword, fight :rofl any way, but fight :aok
Any ways, the best is the best and is unbeaten as long as he isnt even answering to the call or not showing up :lol
Pure luck though, his bottom side is well covered by his puppies ;)

ehm its rather German, but the best ones puppy dont need no stickin grammar. Thats for ze Narzzies!

I too had the great pleasure of fighting Skyyr once.... well it wasn't really a fight. I just chased him around the sky for about 20 mins. :lol

Sounds like awesome fun. :aok
Edit: i have no idea why he has to run from Latty, when - according to him - he could shake and kill bruv in 2 turns.

Wtf is that supposed to mean? Try to lose? Anyone can do that.

Epic fail on two counts.
1) It is a quote.
2) I said AmericanA not AmeriCAN.
(From an ethnic Prussian/Texan, btw. I know German. The reference is actually to a Jewish gent.)
Boom.
-
Wtf is that supposed to mean? Try to lose? Anyone can do that.
:rofl
yup thats what I meant..try to lose....
and this right here is why I respect the Muppets.....
Irishone in his 190....awesome sight to see....
Kappa in the 190...
Skyrock in the Hogs...
Agent in his 109...
I can go on and on....
thats what separates them from most everyone else in AH...
they fight(yes there are others NOT in the Muppets that fight... but sadly skyrr type play "style" over run the MA)
when you fight even losing you learn...thats the only way to really learn is to fight against better sticks or odds that are against your favor.....
if you don't fight when you are at a disadvantage how can you say you are a fighter????
you are fooling yourself...

Chill, Paul, he will never get it... trying to exlain the big secret is unlikely to take any effect.

Well, the best joke is that only you can understand.
And just about every American alive since...1980.....at least.

I duelled Skyrr, his flying style was... interesting.
Learned a few new ways to die, I suspect.

Well hello there. We've actually fought quite a few times, though I don't recall a 20-minute long chase. Perhaps you could enlighten me:
Was it this fight (http://www.mediafire.com/download/wgemd9evpj3cfgb/Skyyr_Latrobe_lol.ahf)? (Go to 5:15)
Or perhaps this one (http://www.mediafire.com/download/sn3bg423cv6twhx/Skyyr_Latrobe_Overshoot.ahf)? (Go to 3:35)
Those were the two most recent ones I have (though I have several tagged with "Latrobe," as I save most all of my sorties to film). I never thought much of our run-ins until I saw your post, so please forgive me for not recognizing the fight you're mentioning. If the above two fights are not the ones you were referencing, please let me know and I'll be happy to search through the rest of my films.

Youre giving my ride a bad name - its an outrage.
Well, I'm not sure what piqued your interest to start a thread over my flying style, but seeing as you're either too disinterested or otherwise unable to fly for the current tour, I can't honestly say I'm concerned.
I'm here for one reason and one reason only - to send other planes down in flaming hunks and return to base with my wingmen. If I do that without the approval from others of my flight style, so be it - I never put much weight in the opinions of side-liners or defeated players to begin with. If you, or any other player or group of players, have a problem with it, there's the battlefield known as the Late War Main Arena. Feel free to bring your best.
To be perfectly clear: I, and we as a squadron, don't give a damn about established conceptions of honorable tactics, fair chances, or "flying for fun" - we're here to kill, and we will do it using the most pragmatic and effective means possible.
Lastly, I've been flying Doras since you were 8 years old (at least in other games). It's my ride, junior. ;)
That said, you seem to be a knowledgeable fellow and I always liked your posts.
-=S=- and I hope to see you on the battlefield.

"The only way to really learn...."
No, it isn't the only way. There are many ways.
"The only way to really learn is to practice and then, when it is for real, to engage and always survive."
You apply a generic "solution" to an individualistic dilemma. Fail.

This would be correct if the game were real. Since it's not, Ink pwns you.

Silly boy.
You can practice this sport and not survive. Because it's a virtual experience. I think that means it's not real. Right? :headscratch:
I shall waste not one more minute on you. I've probably got a PNG coming my way at some point in the near future and I don't want to waste it on a noob. I hope you understand.

What a fun little thread!!
Lets see. To run and live or fight and maybe die...
I'd rather be dead and cool, than alive and uncool in our little neck of the Interdweebs. And since this is just a game and Hitech wont allow you to cash your score in for fabulous prizes and terrific vacations, to play for score is to play for nothing...unless you are here to impress yourself.

I prefer being like Skyyr. Where whiners start threads due to the frustration of being unable to kill him (or me, as it were).
"You won't turn. You suck." Blam. "I am dead. I turn. You suck!"

Unable to kill him? lol Everyone dies in this game.. Only thing important is how you live while alive... oh wait.. nvm.. thats way too deep..

This cuts to the crux of the matter. Some play AH like an eSport, while others play AH like a WWII game. I try to get a WWII vibe from AH as best as possible in the MA. I try to find bombers to escort or something a WWII fighter pilot would do. When there's nothing to do but a giant furball between two bases (which the eSport guys seem to love) I log off. I got caught up in the eSport thing for a while and dove into every furball I could find but got bored to death as it didn't give me a WWII vibe. The eSports guys think the WWII guys are cowards and the WWII guys think the eSports guys are airheads when it's just two different definitions of what's fun :)

Since I'm a gambling man, Ima bet you don't even get close. But it shouldn't be too tough for a guy with lots of stick time in jet fighters, eh?

While it is commendable to aspire to be among the best, you'll have to fly a far more diverse range of airplanes. P-51, Dora and P-47M is very narrow skill set. The best in this game over the 13 years I've been flying and training others, could win in anything. Moreover, being among the best means winning when the odds are stacked against you. This is where dueling, especially dissimilar type dueling, helps to expand skills, knowledge base and builds the necessary experience base. I suggest flying what Alex flew... F6F. Flying the Hellcat means that you won't be able to extend away from the faster fighters. They will chase you down. So, before it becomes a race, you turn into them and show them why the F6F is much better than most would think... Add some variety, it'll make you a better virtual pilot. The path to the top tier usually goes through most of the plane set....

My little dear,
you can turn and still be alive... True, i was dieing a LOT, and? I had fun every single time i had the luck to encounter anyone who was willing to turn with me.
One more note: if you fly off the map, the others will be damn frustrated because they wont be able to kill you. Neener, suckas, im invincible! :rofl

Anyone can tell that i was not afraid of some skirmish on the deck, nor i know anyone whining about my playing style. Except TKO, but he reported me for hacking the flight model, rofl.
E-peen growing contest? I can take it dude. Be number one in the Dora while actually making her dance. Im afraid, it would be totally impossible to even get close. Not the score, but the more challenging part. Til then, this i run, i pick, yall suck mentality is just empty braggage.
Edit: i have the film of the greatestest 190 pilot ever being killed by a girl... so thats for the effectiveness uber alles...

I dont care how old are you.
The last tour i was flying:
So you haven't flown in 7 going on 8 tours and you feel its okay to flame someone who actually plays, on how they play THIER game? Who cares how others play it , you play this game for your own enjoyment not for how others THINK you should play I know pretty INteresting concept.

IN teresting IN deed. Flew a couple sorties in early April too, but wasnt IN terested and left. Got bored because of the IN glorious bastages were actually be IN g afraid of a damned 190 - had no fun chas IN g lalas.
One more th IN g: that ride is my precious one. Fly IN g it like a pansy and claim IN g that he is the greatestest ever is just a stick IN my eye. But read IN g the comments, maybe not only IN m IN e.

I slaughtered the English language...
I'm sorry, I don't recall showing or displaying any interest in your prior stats. In fact, nothing in my reply even mentioned your stats or flight style, so posting them in reply is nothing more than an egregious self-indulgence. That said, I hadn't started flying, let alone joined the game, during Tour 165, so why should I care again? I've been flying for six months as of last week. In that six months, I've somehow managed to gain the attention of a four-year veteran player has-been, posting screenshots of his golden years from a game he no longer plays. Sad, really.
I never claimed to be the greatest 190 pilot, so where you keep pulling that from is beyond me. Now, I do know several others who have stated that (and I would disagree with them), and perhaps you're having withdrawals not having that attention for yourself (which would explain resorting to posting screenshots of seven-month-old game material). By all means, please show me where I ever, once, claimed to be the best - you won't find it.
Also, the only "E-peen contest" here (to quote you), ironically, is you, obvious from the fact you started this thread for no apparent reason. Apparently, I've insulted you, someone, or something dear to your heart (maybe even all in the same) - sad, but I don't care. Most adults don't wear their emotions on their sleeves.
Got something to prove? The battlefield is behind the login button (which you obviously haven't clicked in some time). Put up or shut up, because strictly speaking, you've been a literal non-factor for over six months now.

Well the jokes one my grammar are old. Considering its not my native language and learned most of it in AH in-game, guessing im doing quite fine.
Stats means nothing, but hey, it wasnt me talking about being the most effective muthafucka ever. I was playing the most ineffective way possible and still got decent results.
In your six months, got lotsa friends, aye? Everyone loves you and the way youre playing, aye? Look, you even have an own little puppy, hehe. Quite funny.
Yea you have been claiming to be the greatestest 190 pilot ever (its my own ride, i know it better than anyone, been flying it before your father was born, etc). Also you have claimed to be the best dogfighter ever, via PM. Want me to post them? I know its low but so is your false mightyness.
Just laughing on the mighty ultra-effective one. Funny how quiet you have became on 200 after being shot down by a girl. :rofl

I've played abit and I don't know any sticks that fit your description.. Any given sunday.. No one is ever always the best.. Good luck to you..
One thing for certain though, if you can't fight from a disadvantage and win you're really not even close..
-
Yea you have been claiming to be the greatestest 190 pilot ever (its my own ride, i know it better than anyone, been flying it before your father was born, etc).
You posted this thread, claiming it was your ride, to which I replied afterwards, so it's literally impossible for comments made in this thread to be the reason you posted the thread. Further, I never stated that I knew it better than anyone. In fact, far from it, as I just started flying other 190 variants over the last few weeks.
And yes, we all die. The only female pilot I'm aware of is Peppr. I've died to her a very, very small handful of times, but it happens. Want me to list every time I've killed Peppr? That list would be so pathetically lopsided it'd almost be worth the effort. The irony here, of course, is that you're making it seem like a big accomplishment for her, thereby insulting her own abilities (unless of course you're insulting the skills of all women via sexually discriminating remarks, which I doubt that someone of your... culture and intelligence would insinuate).
And yes, if we're playing Super Smash Brothers, I'll play as Pikachu. Lightning bolt, biotches!

funny stuff :rofl Peppr will let me know when she is finding it insulting :aok
Maybe some people have achieved something else in this game than some easy picks. But they are the ineffective stupid lowlives, you know... they all suck too. hehe

Good Morning Skyyr and Vraciu,
I just so happened to stumble across this thread while enjoying my 1st cup of coffee getting ready for my morning Bible study, and the following post stuck out at me like a 16 penny nail in a 2x4 board.......
If you bear with me, I am going to break it down in different parts.............. what I underline and make bold, I will address in Bold Green Text......

I, acting Damned Aces High CAG, or in other words: WE, The Damned, DO GIVE A DAMN about long time established comradery, as well as earned through sweat, tears and years of hard work to be able to obtain these honorable conceptions of gratitude to be able to have the courtesy of receiving such honorable fights from our opponents
IT is all about "established conceptions" of honorable tactics, fair chances, and "flying for fun" -
Just like our motto says "Damned If We Do, No Fun If We Don't!"
I just wanted to stop that one little misconception........ most of you old timers already knew it anyways........since we have been here for nearly 26 or so years ........
The rest of you can get back to y'alls who is better in whatever plane contest now...........
Cheers

DeBrody, I'm back in the US for most of the summer. I'm going to PM you before the weekend to see what I can learn about flying the D-9 or g14. I'm assuming you're something like 6 hours ahead of US EDT.

Exactly. Looking forward for it, not sure if i can tell anything new though.

-=S=-
finally got myself ro review them.
The first one is definiately not a fight. Latty was fighting with Lulu til you were screaming in at 500mph straight for a pick. An opportunity pick is definiately not a fight.
The second one was a 5v2 in your CW ack... You were still OWNED, pretty much one more ping on you would have made the plane to disintegrate. Pure luck he couldnt drop the flaps to stay behind you - because of your CW ack lol. There came the spray n pray.
None of them shows any skills or anything. If this is what youre proud of, well... FAIL hehe
-
How do you fight if you never turn?
-
Fly the 152 instead of the 190D... you can still pick all you want but you can't run :O
Oh nevermind, he has managed to turn it into a running plane too somehow!
-
Then I must be the most educated person in AH.
what...I have over 14000 deaths.... :P
-
< turns his 190's.
-
Skyyr flies the 152 quite a bit. I've also seen him turn in both the 152 and the Dora. He engages at a disadvantage (numbers, alt) as he does with advantage just like everyone else. He rarely talks smack except when others start it.
So what's the problem here?

Let me just say thank you to DeBrody for starting this thread; it will be a classic ranked up there with "Hairball" by Hangtime (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,12957.0.html)! And thank you to all the other posters that are contributing. It has been a long time since we have seen this much good nature'd testosterone exibited.

I don't see him talking smack unless provoked either. Seems like he's content to fly his own way and doesn't need to impress anyone else. I say more power to him. :airplane:

Regardless of what gets him started, it's that once he gets going, he (and often his squad-mates too) are non-stop on 200.
At this point I think of him very much the same as I did Midway; there are many similarities there. Perhaps the greatest of which is that he seems to derive a good deal of his pleasure from antagonizing others. Last night it was his "I am better than the Muppets" drivel on 200 which went on and on. In that sense, I hold him in the same regard as Midway, and squelch him upon entering the arena. I wish more would do the same.
If others would simply not engage him on 200, just as he refuses to engage you in his 190 ;), I think you will find he really is a non-factor in the game and a legend in his own mind, much the same as Midway was.

This is quite correct, Tony. <S> to you.
And no Ink...I got a new account because I locked myself out of the old one with the intention to never participate in this sludge again. I realized afterwards this rather limited my ability to register for events, etc so I got a new account. I had no intention of doing anything but that until I saw this latest Muppet-led Character Assassination (c).....so congrats to you and the rest of your cohorts for pulling me into this mess one last time.
I realize many of you portray yourselves as "online superheros", disdaining the need for "advantages" like hording, alt, speed, etc etc...but an analysis of the data kinda puts that claim in a different light.
See you in the virtual skies. Special ":salute" to you all! Tootles!!

That's what I am talking about, and its what we are about. We thrive on competition, and could really care less for the 'Status Quo' that people have somehow managed to make staple of flying in Aces High..
1. It takes 2 to HO, if you are involved in one you are 1/2 responsible for the outcome. It was even a *valid* tactic used by WWII pilots.
2. If you get "picked" its YOUR fault for not having SA and learning to disengage from that fight. If I see 2 people fighting I am damn sure going to go in and try and clear the guy on my team unless specifically asked not to. I guarantee you the greatest Aces of WWII did not get all of their kills from exclusive 1v1 fights, nor did they have anyone call them "off" or did they call one of their wingmen "off" especially if they saw that their wingman had better position to take down the bandit.
3. If you are trying to land on or roll from a Runway that has multiple bandits in the air and you get "vulched", again..its YOUR fault, do you expect them to go in circles while you get alt to defend your base? Sorry, *everyone* enjoys getting multiple kills..even if those kills are easy. Roll From another runway or ditch while you are still alive..
That being said, anyone's opinion on how I or any of my wingmen fly is pretty meaningless to me. As long as we continue to be successful and get better I am happy with that.
:salute

ROFL..... Good Morning kappa, Sir!
Nice Post, Widewing.................... really miss our goofing around seeing what we could trick the other one into in the TA after a class was over back in them days/nights......
Cheers
TC
I gotta state for the record that that is the best response that I've seen TC post in ages! Keep up the good work! :salute
All the Best...

You and I think alike, Ammo. What's a sport or game without good-natured smack talk? Pump it up.
I don't even care who's wrong or right. I just like that both of these clowns are engaged and give a rat's rook.
Remember: this is a game... remember...
THen remember the last time you played dealer's choice poker with your buds and you were playing hi-lo and pulled a queen-2 split and bet pot. When you won, you felt like you'd won the lotto, only it was a mere hundred bucks.
Where can you get a better thrill for $14.95 a month? Possibly in the USTA - I've got a match tonight. It's the same kind of thing, though. Old dudes, having it out, talking smack. Occasionally, somebody almost gets in a fight. Great stuff...

USTA looks like a blast. I can see a fight or two breaking out :D

Damn right.
My last encounter with Skyyr, Fulcrum, and Batmannn were on Memorial Day. Being the impatient person I am, I upped from the field they capped and was promptly dispatched. Know what I did? I didn't type one word.. I may have cursed a bit in my domicile much to the chagrin of my wife and family (Trey, what the heck are you cursing about; "nothing honey"). But I got my revenge. I upped a sector out, set myself up at 18K just outside of the Rook's base DAR ring and waited patiently - and bounced Skyyr's TA-152 :P Skyyr: "came back from AFK and was being shot at". Me, I didn't type a word - I just waited for the next one :aok
I got Batmann, Fulcrum and Dallas - numerous times  :neener: :salute
Never saw Skyyr again but I knew he was there from the comedy gold between him and Bulldog on 200... :rock
It's all good
Edit - maybe they were Rook?? Can't remember

Debrody's a much better pilot than you or Skyrr...Skyrr was crap in FA, like he's crap here. He doesn't mention that at one point, FA banned the Damned and their founder. Blundering Fool was banned for life, for cheating, and it wouldn't surprise me if they have kept that tradition alive. Running away to avoid getting killed in a game proves a total lack of skill or abiliy to see the point of the GAME. Debrody they're not worht our time. Let em go, they're little fishies in a big sea.

Yes, that's the newly accepted nomenclature. Knowing is half the battle, as well.
There's also the cutting of the engine in middle of the fight. He's not "cutting his engine off", he's performing a "Practical Power Denial". Small difference I know, but a difference nonetheless.

I respectfully disagree. While I have dabbled in most of the plane set to familiarize myself with their capabilities, hopping around from plane to plane to plane doesn't suit me. I can fly Spits and LAs, pwning all day long. I don't see the challenge in it.
The Pony is, despite what people think, limited in what it can do, and I like that. It makes you work for what you get and you have to fly it smart. That discipline will carry over to other planes down the road.
Eventually I will get bored with it and move on to the next plane to master. But I am still learning this one.
Everyone learns differently. Your method is effective for you but not me. Also, I am a believer in flying the plane that fits your style. Some people like Spits or 109s. Others like Jugs or Doras. I am a Pony guy for now. It simply works for me at the moment.
Thanks for the kind advice, however. It is certainly worthy of consideration. :salute

like 6-7 koth wins are totally worthless - basically 2/3 of the events i have ever participated

You're so messed up you have raised the question; You didn't once go by the name icepac did you?
-
I have killed you more than once. Hmmm....
And those were kills that were a result of me fighting someone else when you came in for the cherry pick. What is telling, one night after you were talking some crap about how uber you were after one of your picks, you kept making excuses not go to the DA because in there you can't rely on your wingman to save you.
It's also very easy to figure out why you don't like to engage unless you know that there is no chance of any danger to you. You don't know how to fight in the defensive, so you don't take any chances that will possibly put in that position. When you're forced into the defensive, you don't know what to do other than stick stir, any sort of defensive maneuvering (such as attempts to force an over shoot or a reversal) is beyond your grasp. Which is surprising for someone that has 10,000+ hours in military attack/fighter aircraft, you would think they'd teach you some sort of defensive tactics.
Fly how you like, but when you lack the skill as you do, it's not wise to talk crap unless you can back it up. Otherwise, you'll be just called out for the eunuch you are.

Not to worry, I see you've drastically improved since your FA days.

Irishone in his 190....awesome sight to see....
Kappa in the 190...
Skyrock in the Hogs...
Agent in his 109...
I can go on and on....
thats what separates them from most everyone else in AH...
they fight(yes there are others NOT in the Muppets that fight... but sadly skyrr type play "style" over run the MA)
when you fight even losing you learn...thats the only way to really learn is to fight against better sticks or odds that are against your favor.....
if you don't fight when you are at a disadvantage how can you say you are a fighter????
you are fooling yourself...
as much as I love flying with you guys, the real pleasure is fighting against....unless it's all of you at once  :D :aok

A player who no longer plays dedicating a thread to someone who has played this game for a few months is only a testament to the impact that person has had. Your opinion carries no weight right now Debrody simply because you don't play this game and haven't even fought any of us, you are waging a fierce keyboard battle sir! =S=.
One of the only things I like about Aces High is the logging of kills..after all we can all agree that numbers are the most objective judges. We can all agree that Erich Hartmann was the greatest ace of all time with 352 kills..I don't think anyone has a chart of "greatest ace of all time that was an energy fighter" or "greatest ace of all time who only turn fought his plane which wasn't made for turn fighting!" or "greatest ace of all time who never HOed anyone!"
352 Kills..By definition Hartmann was the greatest ace of WWII, No one really questions how he did it, but they just know he did.
That being said, lets go to the numbers, I am mainly concentrating on AoM since they seem to have a thing for Skyyr. Duplicate names are from different planes. Cross reference me if you'd like.

These numbers are from this Tour(172), and they are pretty indicative of what is really going on here, are some of the folks frustrated? (or being misinformed in the case of Debrody who hasn't even flown).
Skyyr must be doing something right if for this tour he holds over a 2:1 ratio on your entire squad on his own.
Haters gon' hate, but the numbers never lie. Keep plucking away at the keyboard..it still wont change the truth.
See you in the sky, where kills are the only thing that matters. Thanks Erich Hartmann.

The Damned prefers to stick together at high alts, pull the rope a dope, picking other fights, bnz'n and bait tactics that's fine, no big deal guys. But, Skyyr & the rest, what you don't seem understand is to stop the chest thumping on 200 f. There are plenty other players who use the same tactics, they don't get negative attention as you guys do, know why; they don't promote themselves as uber players, they prolly don't care.
I guess you are saying, that claiming to be one of the best from FA and of the "all-time" hands down, undisputed "best squad from FA" is not to be construed as claiming to have brought the same skills here? :headscratch:
Watched your tactics for 2+ hours last night, same thing every time, in from alt, body guards, etc...as already mentioned. Some individuals pick furballs, your squad more like a 190/51 cloud layer over the furball.
If you refuse to stop the 200 chat I'm so greatest, reap the consequences and stop whining about what you receive.

Cross reference me if you'd like.

those numbers DO lie. heres why, none of them are 1v1. they are pick and vulch kills. i know that these are not 1v1 kills, bc skyyr does not do 1v1.

There were two of us on last night, Rot. Two. And yes, we looked out for one another and occasionally cleared each other's six. Isn't that what squadmates are suppose to do? We were also outnumbered.
But that's OK...I guess I should have yelled out on 200: "HEY! GET IN LINE! ONE AT A TIME LIKE THE MANLY MEN YOU ARE! YOU! YEAH...YOU IN THE 47! MANO A MANO NOW DUDE! LET ME GO CO-ALT WITH YOU! NO ONE ELSE INTERFERE OR YOU HAVE NO HONOR!!!!"
Yeah...I'm sure that would have worked.
As for roping: It takes 3 to rope, and the one being roped doesn't have to participate. Sounds like SA failure to me.
-
2? Kruel doesn't count?
Seems as though you've gained some admirers mirroring your tactics.
Clearing six :rofl,
You guys wouldn't engage until you had the bait and trap.
Outnumbered? If you're 5-7K above a superior group you are still outnumbered :headscratch:
Koolaid's good over there.

Kill per death does not indicate the skill level, only the sign of the pansyness. My ~7 k/d in tur 165 is something im not really proud of either.
Also, skyyr holds a steady K/D of 2.9 in the current tour - thats not too mighty, considering he is playing for the survival.
At the end ill be the pansy arse picker and he the ultimate turnfighting gawd :rofl :rofl

Cargnico and Copprhead, welcome to AoM! :salute
Numbers don't lie... like this is an accountant convention. :rofl

Otherwise, you'll be just called out for the eunuch you are.
ack-ack
Thou doth protest much.
Picks? LOL
To refute your falsehoods would take more time than I care to spend. I will just say if you were as good at flying as you are lying you would be 151:1 kd.

No worries. I fly the D11.
Alrighty then! Just sent you a PM. Let me know what day/time you are available.

By all means, do keep stocking up.

Everyone stop the name calling / personal attacks.
HiTech
That was the op's objective. Along with more namecalling we have falsehoods galore to go along with the chest thumping. Ridiculous in the extreme. This is a game. We should all be friends, really.
I am out of this. People lie and say disprove it, knowing full well it can't be done.
Really immature.

HiTech
Debrody doesn't either with his vulgar references to butt licking. It is detestable at best.
-
While I'll defer to whatever judgment you deem as appropriate, that comment does not offend me in the least. If he wants to refer to us as girls and girlfriends, so be it. He'll just have to live with knowing a squadron of females completely destroys him within the confines of your game, sir.
I submit to you Exhibit A (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8i8M5D0y-8).
-=S=-
It is all offensive. That you can ignore it doesn't change that fact. Hitech is correct.

Fulky, i would not be too proud of that i can get a kill in 2v1... but thats just my over-grown egoism :rofl
I wasn't proud of anything, I was stating facts. So Muppets never rope or clear each other's six? Ah yes, I must have imagined the times I have seen it done.
Please resub. I'd like to see what you can do and we need more people in game.

lickitty lick he hee
funny
Well, hes just seeing how much they are in each others rear end, that was the first thing that came to his mind ,how could you fault him :lol
Keeping it classy I see.

Koolaid's good over there.
Kruel wasn't on when we were doing this.
Do you read what you write?
So I assume, based on the way you wrote this, is the "honorable" way for us to fight would have been to get on the deck with the....ah... superior group and die swinging, maybe take a few with us. Am I correct?
Not sure about the koolaid here...but I'm certain the Koolaid is good their...did they spike it with something before they handed it to you?
-
Turn in your shovel here. the holes are deep enough.. :lol

Delusional jealousy coupled with frustration. You will never change their minds. May as well move along. Hitech is already losing patience with this thread and frankly so am I.
-
Skyyr doesn't need my help. He is handling the whiners just fine on his own.
Vraciu, if this is so, why do you have more posts in this thread than anyone else?
Since you are a relatively new player, Vraciu, I will offer the following advice and experience with you one time. I hope you consider the following:
Several years ago, in my second stint flying in aces (2008ish) I was flying Bish (as all new players are assigned) as was rather quickly recruited into a Bish squad. They were a "base taking" squad, and known for "hording bases". It was good for me at the time, as I was learning lots about the game from them, but the squad was often vilified here on the forums for their tactics and specifically for the attitude of the XO (who later became CO), who would PM and berate guys whenever he got shot down.
The squad and our tactics were a common theme of the forums. As a loyal member of my squad, I felt inclined at the time to defend against some of the abuse against the squad brought here on the forums (not the PM'ing thing, as I never like that). But, I spent an undo amount of time and effort replying to what I thought were "attacks" against my squad and I. All of this was pointless, because people are going to think what they think.
However, as I got more experience in the game, I realized some of what others were saying was true. I was vastly limiting what I could learn and my ability to improve at flying in AH by flying with that squad and using the tactics they used. I soon thereafter left that squad. It took a little while before I was accepted into another good squad, who never-the-less ribbed me for a while about my previous squad affiliation. Eventually I became well-respected in that group as my skills improved even further, flying new aircraft and learning new tactics. I also felt I was becoming more respected in the community, as we generally stayed off of 200 and treated others with respect.
When I really started to learn Aces High, I learned to challenge myself more and accept failure as a learning opportunity, rather than being focused on "always winning". I started flying by myself more, dying more often, but learning at a greatly accelerated rate. My point on that is this: Often taking a "win at any cost" approach to a game can be the worst thing for you.
I am NOT saying you should leave your squad. I am saying you should be careful what horse you attach your wagon to, especially if are going to vehemently defend your approach to the game right now, and particularly the actions and attitude (on 200) of the player you look up to the most. This is going to potentially stifle your growth and, more importantly, stifle your association within the AH community.
Case in point: You once asked if you could be a part of my gunnery training course when I started running it again. I told you I would PM you when I did. I haven't PM'd you, because the answer now is "no" -- you have established yourself to me as someone I don't want to associate with in any way at this point.
You can disagree and dismiss my comments just as you did Widewing's advice. I truly believe you should give both some more serious thought and let them sink in a little before replying to me, or to anyone. I have no intent to reply any further to you at this point anyway.
That is all, sir.
Respectfully,
<S>

Nope, i rarely clear sixes unless we are outnumbered. Thats why i was called "that fricken dorahore" hehe.
It usually looks like:
-are you okay with that <insert plane type here>?
Bait/pick/run is not the tactic i have joined my current squad, or any squad i was flying before the AoM.
Keeping it classy I see.

Yea, this thread's goal was to make fun of you. Totally on the hook, buddy :rofl

Please forgive me if I don't shed any tears over your opinion of me. I could care less but that would take effort.
You can't teach me anything any way, so the non-invite is a non-factor. I don't even recall asking. Shows how important it was to me...as in not at all.

Any time you would like to go to the DA for some 1v1 fights, just ask. I'm sure we can waive the "no balls, no entry" DA requirement for you to go. With your vast real life 10,000 flight hours in military fighters, I shouldn't last very long.

Well at least you're versed in hyperbole. Too bad that doesn't apply to you regarding honesty and reading COMPREHENSION.
-
Ryno you tried diligently, those are sage words...I fell to the same trap (not to the degree of Vraciu's vehement defense of Skyyr though) with my second AH squad here too, defending the CO as if he for some reason needed it.
You tried, others tried to offer them ways to stop being so abrasive, this has gone on for months...
oh well,
:salute
-
Are we squad dueling or are we just gonna watermelon chat about alt fairies, picktards and zoom climbing with the engines off?
8 on 8... Do you guys have 8? Er, nevermind pick 5 and let us know. Yes, 5K start-alt will be fine. Stats boys, put up or shut up.

Skyyr hasn't done anything wrong, CO or not. People who lie about him (or anyone, for that matter) should be your concern, not anything I have said to set the record straight.

Why don't you go? You have formal military ACM training to fall back on. I don't understand this.
