LOL. No it wouldn't. It is an attack aircraft with very high wing loading. It has the potential to do a lot of damage, but it is dead meat against almost anything in the air.
Due to its efficacy as an attack aircraft it is likely to be perked as well.

nevermind, i forgot the awsome flaming mossi is the most uber twin in the game, how foolish of me,thank you for reminding me

+3. :aok

The GV players will not like the Hs 129. Which ever 30mm gun it comes with. Firing at sub 100 will pass the tungsten carbide round through the side armor of all but the TigerII with one shot. Shooting from farther out may not cause any damage. The greatest danger to it's pilots was smacking the tail section into the tanks turret pulling up.

The HS 129 won't make things worse to tanks in general than the Ju-87G, Il-2 and most probably the Hurri D either.
Besides, most A2G tank kills are made by tossing a bomb anway, so the threat level would not go up at all.

I'll take all three. :D

I fail to see any mention of that aircraft in my post. I was stating that the very high wingloading on the A-26 means it will not do what you are claiming it will do. The A-20G will soundly trounce an A-26 in air-to-air combat. The A-26 is not a wonder plane. The closest flight performance to the A-26 on a plane already in AH is probably the Me410.

Now I'm curious to how the Hs-129 would match up against the A-26... :headscratch:

Poorly. :p
A-26 is much faster, better climb and much more ordnance. Just too much of a performance difference.
Hs129 would be more resistant to small arms fire though. Guns on the Hs129 are, of course, more of a threat to an armored GV. The threat to the GVs from the A-26 are bombs.

middle one is most needed out of those three. IMO. :aok

And the number of HVARs it could carry, 14 iirc.

There's no particular order I'd like to see them all added :aok

I look forward to engaging each in a 110G and pounding them into scrap. ;)
More twin-engined goodness! More! :D

If you want a sample of how the 30mm round from the Hs129 will treat tanks. Offline swap out one of the drones for a T34 either model. Up the Ju87-G2 with the convergence pulled into about 200. Fly at the side of the T34 1000ft alt diving into attack from 1000yds. At sub 100 tap the trigger then pull out from your shallow dive. Make sure you hit into the side. I found at a slight angle down shooting into the side armor, or just under the skirt. The T34 died from a single round out of either gun. That is how ultimately the Hs129 pilots got their kills on Russian tanks including the heavies. Sub 100 shots with the tungsten carbide core rounds.
I will bet we won't get the BK 7.5. It killed all Russian tanks with a single round including the Joseph Stalin. Shooting at ground targets the shell was equivalent to a 50kg bomb.
