Shooting AFK planes seems to elude you, and your an IRL pilot(Or at least claim to be, from what I've seen in here that is scary)....maybe you don't have the required skill to talk about any of the trainers....

Got to be able to beat them before you bash them :aok

I added the attachment I forgot in the first post.

It is of a radial engine plane windmilling a prop. on the deck of the carrier.

Don't really want to burst your bubble Junky but if you think AH bears anything more than a passing resemblance to real flying, you are sadly mistaken.

Yo icepac wonder if multi-engine planes glide differently with engines shut off vs running and feathered vs running not feathered? Maybe the mossie or p38?

I think the sim autofeathers off or dead engines on mult-engine planes.

They do glide differently with engine on vs engine off and the + or - keys of a running engine will make a difference as well for gliding..........or diving.

For years now I have been using the RPM control as if it were a spoiler device. It works pretty good, but in a very limited capacity.

My issue is with him trying to call out the trainers...even though he's horrible at the game...that's my issue. Stop bringing up real flight with me, I've made it clear  that this is a game for me...I play to be good at this game which is understanding it's flight model...not actual flight (understanding that does help though for sure)...he brings up his real life flying as an excuse for suckage in game...aka "explointing the model"

I was thinking a single engine plane gliding with dead engine (prop not spinning) would be similar to multi-engine glide with engines shut down.

No. Air pressure is modeled and is correct for altitude. You may be thinking of the lack of turbulence.

That is either the dumbest thing I've ever heard, or the worse lie ever. I suspect the later.
