I've got the VKB pedals, and I'm so impressed with them. I've been looking into getting one of their sticks, preferably this one myself. I've got way too many hotas and mech keyboards already, but for VKB I'll make an exception and buy one more, as I'd really like to see if their sticks are as good as their pedals. From your previous posts on the Cobra stick Blade, they sure look accurate and precise. This one too from the 2nd vid too.
IIRC they don't make this stick anymore, the Black Mamba III, where did you find it if you don't mind me asking? I know the Cobra M5 costs about 1/3 of what the BM3 does. I assume you pre ordered it as this was a limited run, but if you found a source somewhere I'd love to hear from where so I can pick one off, I've had no luck finding one myself yet, and heard about the limited run only after it was done.
I really hope VKB ups their production and keeps making new stuff, maybe a throttle and a complete HOTAS system too - Jason who runs the VKB USA outfit is fantastic to deal with (He also runs the show at the company that created IL2 BOS and I think Rise of Flight as well).
Pic of the VKB pedals below, I have the MFG Crosswins and the Slaw 109 Cam model as well, all 3 are great and have their advantages, but I much prefer the VKB for precision due to just the ankle needing to move, like pressing the older CH non USB pedals back in the day, only even less motion is required. It's a bit of a PITA getting a toe brake function however, but again, their are +/- to all custom pedals. VKB's quality and impressive, and that's why I want to seek out one of their BM3 sticks, as it's their best product stick wise to date most likely.

I like VKB's joysticks too. I recommended 1. King Cobra
2. Black Mamba 3. Cobra M5 King Cobra and Black Mamba are hi-cost than Cobra M5 because I think metal gimbal and precision sensor. But it's worth it. VKB joystick buy from https://flightsimcontrols.com/ at Europe and Asia. at USA http://gostratojet.com/

I have the pedals and would absolutely buy their Stick if the wife hadn't already got me a warthog for Christmas.

Because I fly so much DCS I have been thinking about Flight Link, or C-Tek controllers. I have not found anyone that has used them yet.

Sigh, I asked them in feb last year to be put on the waiting list, and they confirmed I'd get an email when they had them for sale, to be honest, I'd given up, was this a new batch Blade? (I haven't heard anything from since March last year)

Wow this joystick has a 12 bit controller in it! That's a huge resolution for a joystick.
Does anyone know what controller the CH line of products use?
The stick looks more ergonomic than the F-16 style.

I'm very happy using VKB's joystick. steely07, I pre-order Black Mamba at Nov.2015. Kazaa, Black Mamba stick is ergonomic, so that looks like Su-27's one.

Black Mamba's base metal have enough weight. But I recommend use Anti-vibration mat. Black Mamba and Kingcobra has good precision. Warthog or X-52/55 has more precision, but moving stick feeling is not so good for me.

I'd really like to get both VKB sticks (well they have more than 2, but the 2 in this thread at least), and compared them with other sticks. I'm just so impressed with their pedals, their sticks must be decent. Saying that they have better movement but less precision is interesting when compared to the Warthog. IMO the CH stick has the best precision for AH, with my Warthog being 2nd, but close, it's just tighter and therefore not quite as smooth for shooting for me. I haven't tried the X55, but have an X52pro, but find the spring/base to be a little notchy unless you do some mods. I just picked up a used Cougar in 99% condition for like 40$ USD or so, and it's still very accurate too, but heavy movement as well. Sounds like the VKB are sort of in the middle of CH, Warthog, and Saitek.
Their WW2 stick would be cool for IL2 and such games.
Did you get the 109 keychain trigger with your purchase? I'll put up pics of mine, it's pretty cool, I always get comments and questions on it if anyone needs my keys.

Blu-Tack's awesome and apparently not well known abroad. I use it in prototypes as temporary glue.

Blade, which base does this stick connect to? Is it the Gladiator Pro base, the flat base from your other stick, or does it come with its own flat base?
Nice collection of VKB you have going - I've got all the other HOTAS but these, and they are my next project, I just wish VKB would produce more of their higher end sticks. Been happy with their pedals, that's for sure.

The older models have a work around for it too through the software. I haven't tried it though. THe VKB tiny box software can be a little bit of a PITA, and the instructions are mostly in Russian, the in depth ones at least.
