See Rule #14
Frank Sinatra would fly the P-38
Clint Eastwood . . .
The B25H. Because the 75mm gun it packs is -almost- as powerful as the
one he used in "Dirty Harry". :P
Jimmy Stewart in a B-24...but then again he really flew them in combat. Kinda tough to top his act :aok
Roald Dahl (author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, among others) -- the Hurricane, as he was a Hurricane ace in WWII.
Not an Ace but did fly Hurricanes.
Gene Roddenberry of Star Trek fame flew bombers in the PTO
In 1941, he shot down two Ju 88's in April, one Potez 63 in June, and another Ju 88 in June. Also in April, he fought the Battle of Athens during which 22 LW fighters were shot down. Some sources attribute one or more of them to Dahl (like the sources used for this one: http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Roald_Dahl ). I don't know if there is a more-official tally somewhere.
Ah, yes!
John Belushi - when in character as "Samurai Futaba" of Saturday Night Fame
