Wish we have one of these places on all maps !

Lots of action, died many times and killed some myself.

It's my absolute fav map for just that reason. The whole rest of the map could go away, I don't leave the middle portion.  Great fights, low easy to find..Always a blast.  :cheers:

It's a dueling map in the OMA.   Boring.

With more numbers it would be fun I'm sure.   But that center island bites.

Its always a blast at center island on that map. I fly for the dogfights, I don't care about taking bases or who wins the map. What is it 25 perks?? Pfffffttt I get that in one sortie.  :rock :rock

Its fun for awhile, then it just gets tiring to always be picked from the next wave that MUST come in at 15k. I think if it was a rule that there was a 3-4k alt ceiling would make it more fun. Twisting and turning on the deck, even in a P47 is a blast. But like I said getting picked by alt monkeys gets tiring.

Sometimes your the dog and sometimes you are the tree.  You guys were beating me up pretty bad in those jugs the other night.

I like to mix my sorties up a little.. some full pyscho flying on the deck a few runs... followed by a few with some more altitude.

Beer usually makes both scenarios enjoyable. :D

Take the area where the 3 bases are, inside that sector, make it a new map. Add 2 more bases inside it. Make them all green. There's your FFA  :aok. It was fun being able to fight very quickly yesterday when I only had 20 minutes to play. These are tough areas to fight, no doubt about it. But it is crazy fun. That's why I wish there was an arena with type of constant furball action. I think it would keep a lot of players around. I don't think the FI or TT are right for the MA because it takes away from the point of what the MA is. That's why I think they should have their own separate maps.

I think its fine for the MA, its another option for players. As a full time setup, I would have left the game years ago.

nawww thats still too high, all those speed demons dropping down from 10k and pick and extend. Pretty much what we have from a few players last night. Even saw a guy come in with a 262, and you know he wasn't planning on turn fighting on the deck with the rest of us.  :P

just need to disable anti aircraft gvs at all middle fields and disable ords at the fields.

That leave good bunch of planes out of that terrain part, if the pilot is not totally suicidal, or likes to HO alot.
Some planes need some alt to stand a slim chance against the total-turners with almost zero loss if energy when they turn with their infinite WEP.
Flying those planes would just turn out to be a total cannon HO-fest, where more is better.

We still will have to live in a 3D world, else AH pilots are only very fast hovercraft GV'ers.

262s can be disabled / enabled where map designers like.

I took a 163 there on the last rotation.  4 tech stops to make it, and I angered on my second pass.  Colossal waste of time, but goshdarnit it was fun!

If you are not worried about score, it's a lot of fun.......down low trying various types of aircraft in the crowd......you will get picked and you will get shot down a lot......(well, at least I do)......for me its good fun........ :old:

However, if you are concerned about wanting to maintain your 16 kill/death+1 picking ratio.....its probably not for you.......... :old:

Maybe when this map is up I will try Spits or something.   Could be fun.

Depends what plane you are in.
I lose 100mph in a prolonged high G turn to counter Yak3, Spit16s, and La7s incredible E-retention, flying an  A8.
I even resorted to fly the 2-cannon A8 yesterday to get a slim chance of survival, and I felt like cheating  flying the A5 with it's higher ENY, and It's cheating abilities  :cool:

I used shoot up storches with the 163 at tank town in the crater MA map........without a rearm pad.

Kinda tough landing it on a Vbase, though.
