POOL NIGHT

Of course this storm coming might change that. If we have less than 10 inches of rain..... pool is still on.

it was fun I need to learn the matches better and try to get people move around. Long Range shooting is boring and drives alot of people away. Just wish we had more allied tanks that were present during the War that could compete against the Panthers, and Tigers. I know the allies had the ammo and a few tanks to do that. I just do not like to sub tanks and all but I could of sube'd the Panther for the Pershing for the allies but was trying to keep it traditional armor for tonight.

plus landing kills in AvA Tank night is more like a look at me type of deal and that is not what we are trying to promote there. We are looking to have a good time and all

You said landing kills, that funny.  :rofl  plus I was tracked most of the night, and could only spin in a circle.  :joystick:

I left because of the uneven sides that no one seemed to want to correct. It probably got fixed after I left...

That was the first time I have had success using a Panther. I usually get one kill then die.  In the main arena I rarely use a perked ride. You mostly see me driving around in my harmless little M-8. Sometimes I use the T-34/85 if all the enemies are in perked rides.   :D

The Panther IMO was too much tank for that setup. Allied iron has a very difficult time penetrating the frontal armor of the Panther.

Lesson learned I usually add the panther to allied side as a sub for the pershing but was trying to keep it somewhat accurate there are many more allied gvs that could be added to the game in the future that could stand up to the panther and tigers.

Both sides should have had same mix of vehicles.  This is only way it will ever be fair since all vehicles are not created equal and it showed last week and in WW2.

well since it is Axis vs Allies Arena both side's should not have the same line up there are a few tanks that can keep up with the Axis tanks we have here but it is impossible to keep the sides fair... to many player's like to take the better tanks and sit in 1 spot and not move around. I posted a Players choice for line up this week and there were no suggestions made yet so I guess I will be doing the line up. these fights are supposed to be fun and not who can land the most kills.

I did post a suggestion for tonight.  The bridge map encourages people to sit since there is little chance to cross bridge if other side is actively defending it.  This is because spawn is right in front of bridge.  You kill the 1 defender, he is back shooting at you before you can even get on the bridge.  But if you back up the spawn 1 to 2K, then killing a defender will give you an opportunity to move.

What if we can move the spawn points back so we aren't sitting on top of them ? Think that could help?

How about some thick fog this week?  That would discourage/prevent the long range one shot one kill scenario.  It's very cool that some guys can pull that off but, after awhile it's kinda like a turd in the punch bowl.   :rofl Interesting at first but, soon loses its appeal.   :salute

P.S. Molsman, I know you enjoy shooting me in the forehead from the next county.  I just need a couple of weeks for the wound to scab over. :D
