This happens to me a lot. First few films I watch no problem, then I'll start getting this problem. Anyone else?

So far have not noticed, but I have watched more high altitude stuff. Maybe fiddle with graphic settings before opening Film Viewer.
-
I get phantom airfields which appear at strange orientations and start sending up Ack when I try to replay a section of film.
-
That appears to be texture corruption. Could be a lot of things causing it. Anything from heat to driver issues to editor as well.
Need more data. DXDIAG output (attach the file) might be helpful.

I don't think heat. Also happened to me with the AH2 film viewer.

OK, I stepped away from this due to the holiday, but here we go.
Dxdiag is below. I updated the drivers for my video card and thought it may have cured it, but this is what I got today.

Any particular reason you are running the two monitors at different resolutions less than their native resolutions?
If this is in the film viewer, are you certain you have the same version of the terrain you are looking at in the film viewer?

Any particular reason you are running the two monitors at different resolutions less than their native resolutions?
At the native size the picture is bigger than the viewable screen so the first column of icons are half off the screen for the main monitor, and the second monitor is smaller and these poor old eyes have a hard time reading things I have running there sometimes :D
If this is in the film viewer, are you certain you have the same version of the terrain you are looking at in the film viewer?
The screen shot is from the film viewer. I made the film Saturday night, and played Sunday morning. Same terrain unless you updated it during the night. ;)
-
If the picture is not fitting the native resolution of the monitor, it usually means there is a frequency mismatch between the monitor and the video card.
Running at non-native resolutions will introduce artifacts into the screen image.
However, not what you are seeing. Is it consistent? Does it happen when you look at the same terrain offline at the same location? I need that location. Do a .psave if it happens offline and there will be a "cmepos.txt" file located in the game installation folder. Post it to the bug report forum.

This is what I get a lot. It happens (unreliably) when I advance or retard the film position with the slider.

Had it a lot, also in AH2 on a different computer. This was in the MPA, I played there this morning and definately have the terrain!

Updated drivers and adjusted resolutions so they now match "recommended" resolutions and Im still getting this.
It seems to happen when rewatching a film. stop in the middle to start over, or use the rewind function. Some times it will crash the film viewer, others give me these artifacts.

^ this is what I get too. The other day I saw most of an airbase kicked up at an angle and strange water underneath with a few trees left on it.
