Why? Are you hoping they add something you'll actually be good in?   :neener:

Also need more gv's, like a landing craft to land m4s, jeeps, or M8s to shore. :x

If you press for the final AH1 planes to be updated then after that the only planes Waffle maybe could touch are "new" models.

Though there are the next generations after AH1 up to the AH3 3D generation that need updating like the P47-D11 cockpit. Bet Waffle has something like a tentative todo list for dropping cockpit modules into air-frames from the generation of the spits and 109s. Or a full upgrade, though you do see in the 109's during the AH3 alpha\beta Waffle made some updates inside the cockpits along with updates on the instrument packages in general for AH3. You get a glimpse of this in the new 163 update, the Revi16, its reflector glass and cockpit in general. Then the MKII round glass gunsight in the Hurricane update and it's cockpit. And the Type100 reflector plate glass in the Ki61 has real rounded corners exactly like you should see in all the spitfires. Oh and the Spit MKI needs a new cockpit and the gunsight from the Hurricanes. All BoB spitfires had the round reflector plate head on their MKII, the square one came out in 41 after BoB. At least Waffle has become really good at 3D modeling and artwork for WW2 hardware. You should take a closeup tour of the Rvi16 in the new 163 to see how good he is. You have to turn on reflections to see the reflector plate glass.

The list of planes left to get up to standard is getting noticeably shorter.  I too hope they turn to new ones after they're completed.

If we're going to do the 190's, we could do with some expansion of the set along with it. Right now it's kind of a grab bag of prominent but not particularly representative models.

An Fw 190A4 would make a fair representation of the A2-early lower-boosted A5's. It was a fairly major variant in itself, wouldn't be ungodly fast vs the A1 and A2's, nor drastically heavier, but would keep most of the armament and performance characteristics of the early A5's.

And then we could get a later 1.65ata boosted A5, or perhaps an outright A6 to fill up until our bomber-buster variant of the A8 goes into service.

Seriously? Not enough 190 options in the overall plane set is your top priority?  :rofl

the a20g,  and effective bombing in any American bomber higher than 27 k is  the only way a b17 could get  above 30k was without bombs and all but the turreted guns removed. effective bombing in most others above 20 is a joke. The bf 110 turn rate is. They need ed there own fighter escort when in enemy territory  from battle of Britain on.

Why add more planes if the performance modeling isn't  a reflection of the actual aircraft?  Too many fantasy planes now.

Do you have verifiable data that proves there is an issue with a particular plane's flight model?  I'm guessing not.

BS.  A 351st BG vet that I spent a lot of time with talked about them flying a mission at 32,000.  It wasn't a workable altitude because of the poor bombing accuracy....but the B-17 got up there.

That was a special mission to deliver a large load of helium party baloons, and all the gunner positions in this mission were manned by members of the Peter Dinklage lookalikes club.

The He 177 Greif looks pretty interesting.  It was put in production but had overheating problems.

As a long range bomber, if it was successful it could had effected Russian production\factories that were moved east.

So many planes that can be added. Looking forward to the next one!

Much praise to HTC for updating older planes, but it would sure be nice to see a shiny new G.55 in the skies.

I've been tracking the progress of more recent 3D model upgrades.  According to this information, we seem to be past due for the next aircraft upgrade.  My guess is it may occur sometime in the next two weeks.  :lol

Not a lot of data there to draw valid conclusions from but still interesting to look back on.   Very anxious to see what Waffle does with the A-20G/Boston III.  It's such a beautiful aircraft, and a good performer from beginning to end of the War.

Those are great stats.  FBDurr's post looks great too.  :rock

Though the AH front page shows game features they are working on - I dont see any new planes.  Could someone please post the URL showing what new planes AH are working on.

I disagree.  Getting the old vehicles up to snuff is a very good idea to be doing first.  The early models are a major blemish.  Once that's done, I'm pretty sure they're going to put Waffle on something new.
