I've got a Thrustmaster T-16000 setup with throttle and pedals. I'm trying to get all the controls mapped. I've got most of it, but I would like to setup the wheel that's on the left side of the throttle (under pinky finger) as an elevator trim wheel, and the rocker on the front of the throttle as either aileron or rudder trim. I mapped the wheel in the game, and it show the axis as "analog elevator trim" but it does nothing in flight. Same for the rocker.
Any ideas? Having a wheel for elevator trim just seems better to me then tapping the keyboard buttons.

Make sure to turn off combat trim while in flight, or the analog trim will do nothing.

I figured it out. Yes, I made sure CT was off, I already had if mapped to a stick button so I can flip it on and off at ease.
For elevator trim, I calibrated the axis for the wheel, now it works. I don't understand how, because even before I calibrated it the numbers would move with the wheel. But after calibration it works -shrugs-...
As for the aileron trim, if I used the rocker as analog it would always return trim to neutral because the rocker is spring loaded to return to center. I got it to work by leaving the analog axis unassigned, scrolled down to where it lets you assign the axis 'min' 'mid' and 'max'. Set the 'min' to aileron trim left, the 'max' to aileron trim right and leave the 'mid' unassigned. Now I can tap the rocker left or right to move the aileron trim.
