look I loved AH2 as much as anybody, the berms the bombed out house's, the red and white barns, the lack of trees. the SMPizza was the best tank fight map. titanic Tuesday-early and midwar arenas. the 600 to 1000 players esp on Friday and Saturday nights. most maps had great Tank fights. air combat was great as well. BUT IT'S GONE, HISTORY, KAPUT.
GET OVER IT. people keep talking about it, even I made a reference to it once last week. there is no sense in bringing it up, talking about it.
those good and really fun days are over. we need to quit dwelling on it. I know I'm going to get flamed over this post. but I don't care.
almost every time I read the forums, Discussion, wish list or the o'club someone mentions it. AH2 IS GONE. :old:

GET OVER IT.
Agreed.
Good lord, it's as bad as people pining for the days of AW FR. Probably worse. The world has moved on.

Rome was sacked how many times, before the empire never rose again???

Rome was sacked how many times, before the empire never rose again???
Well nobody knows.

Rome was sacked how many times, before the empire never rose again???
Isn't it still an open case? I mean Vatican, don't they say it's the soul, spirit and successor of the Roman Empire?
-
476 is the significant date, most accept.. When the last Roman Emperor to rule from Rome, was deposed by a barbarian Chieftain.. The "Empire", of the Caesars, didn't rise again..
During the age of the Republic/Empire, I believe Rome was sacked 3 times, Gauls, Visigoths, and Vandals.. But it happened after the the end of the Empire as well..
That is what I refer to, but I guess it could be open to historical interpretation..
Point is, after a long glorious period, Rome lost it's grip on power.. Was rejuvenated for a
short period of time, and then faded away!

LOL, six degrees of separation right???

There was quite a lengthy discussion where I found that... The main consensus was that no family heritage lines can be drawn, but if you think of Rome as a nation or constitution, the lineage could be vindicated. Where's the tongue in the cheek smiley?
Such trains of thought can be dangerous, though, in the modern social media culture we live in. It looks convincing enough to fool the majority of masses if presented widely enough in trustworthy medias and if the masses are large enough the radical elements can get forceful enough to get some significant power. Let's just hope the majority can laugh at interpretations like this.

A little known fact is that Nicholas II had another son who was not taken during the revolution.........he moved to England and had a son.... Zack1234 is actually the heir to the Roman empire..

Hello sailor :)
Roman empire is related to the lunatic Russians :rofl
Everything is related to everything :rofl
The Romans stole everything of the Greeks
The Greeks stole everything from the Gypos
The Egyptians stole everything from the Numbians
God created Britain because he was showing off :old:
-
I agree with all the other claims except the last one.
God created Britain because he needed a dumpster. That's why it's isolated from the mainland.

Finland invented Turnips the standard currency of Eastern Europe and Britain invented Trans Sexuals which the US has taken over as its leading past time :)
The Finns touched Bruv in an improper manner :old:

No, we just slid him in a tight gap between sweating naked men.

I thought the upgrade to version 3 was great. I have no idea why it wasn't a bigger success. Maybe it was the maps and the game play, and all the vehicle fighting. But I liked the update itself.
-
Technically AH3 is better than AH2 in every possible way (unless you run a 15 yeats old computer with an inboard graphics processor).
AH2 was bigger because times were different. The world has moved on, though oddly it moves in a circle around the sun, so we should be back in the same olace every year. Then again, the solar system is circling the galaxy, so we should be back in the same place in 240 million years, give or take the odd 10 million.
-
Bozon is talking gibberish :old:
The galaxy is a myth and is like the moon a projection created by the government :old:
There is no such thing as circles only squares :old:
If people wont upgrade thier PCs go live in Eastern Europe

Zack is really Ron White in disguise.
Zack would need to get a pickup, a whiskey, and a cigar. Then he would just need some material and timing.

ahhhh no, that's not what I said-AH2 had 14 maps-all but 4 are from AH2 are in AH3 now and been revamped. 3 Bustr maps and buzzsaw. I am requesting 2 more maps and of course they would have to come from AH2. I'm not requesting they bring back AH2, that will never happen.
-
I like "Living in the past" by Jethro Tull. Nothing will make me quit liking the song.
