Had enough listening to doom and gloom?
One of our strengths has always been to find humor in the worst of situations. Bill Mouldin did it during WWII with his famous Willie and Joe characters.
Now its our turn to find humor in the misery and use it for some levity to maintain sanity.

This is not really a joke but... our shop is open due to military and oil supply. We carry a letter stating such with contact numbers and passwords for confirming employment.

My wife works for a Budweiser distributor. They are considered essential also. I asked her if she was given a letter.... she said it is on the side of her van. DOH! She drives a bud van.... she is in sales.

Something I tune to myself when going to work in the morning, in the tone of Wizard of Oz:

"I'm off to get my COVID, the wonderful virus of fun!"

Another bit I also tell myself:

"Since I'm going to be infected, I'll take the "Corona Light" please."

Someone else here (in the other thread) though of that that; mild case of COVID = "Corona Light".  I couldn't help myself. :D

Noticed more of these types this week vs last week: Joggers, cyclists, walking their dogs, at manual car washes, or just dicking around.  Yep, they want to do as they please.

I noticed the local Hobby Lobby open when I came home from the shop today. They have been sneaking back open in some states and being shut back down.
